Kent v Middlesex - Twenty20 Cup - Canterbury
2nd Innings

4th Over

Middlesex come out to bat with their heads down and have only managed to score six runs, when in the 4th over, Smith gives Kent their first wicket.

w1ng8.jpg

13th Over

Strauss and Joyce put on a decent partnership but Middlesex are still batting far too slowly when Ferley strikes.

w2se8.jpg

Styris then tries the reverse sweep and ends up looking very silly.

w3nt0.jpg

Middlesex now need more than 25 runs per over.

14th Over

Stevens is looking extremely dangerous as a bowler in this competition and picks up the wicket of Godleman.

w4hy5.jpg

Then he sends Dalrymple back where he came from. As Dalrymple hits the ball high in the air and van Jaarsveld takes the catch with ease.

w5em1.jpg

Amazingly Nash plays the very same shot as Dalrymple and Stevens bags a hat-trick as Middlesex lose 5 wickets in 2 overs.

w6dc4.jpg

15th Over

Joyce is being let down big time by his batting partners but goes on to make his half century in the 15th over.

joyce50zy4.jpg

16th Over

Joyce doesnt get much further, only adding another 10 runs before Stevens strikes again.

w7oj6.jpg

Stevens then gets his 5th wicket the very next ball. It's one of the softest wickets you will ever see. Louw is out and Middlesex have collapsed to 92/8.

w8qp5.jpg

18th Over

There's some token resistance from the tailenders before Betts skies a shot to give Khan his first wicket.

w9ff0.jpg

Sussex v Kent - Twenty20 Cup - Hove

The sun is out and the wicket looks in great knick so its no surprise that Sussex chose to bat first upon winning the toss.

Sussex make a steady start but all their good work is undone when Robbie Joseph enters the attack. First he removes Montgomerie for 17.

w1fe3.jpg

Then he bowls fellow opener Ward for 27.

w2gi3.jpg

7th Over

Joseph is really pushing for a regular place in the Kent team when he removes Adams for just 2 runs.

w3ta5.jpg

9th Over

Patel replaces Joseph and claims the wicket of Yardy.

w4vc2.jpg

11th Over

Martin-Jenkins shows his contempt for Patel's bowling as he hits Patel for 2 sixes in 2 balls.

12th Over

Bravo halts Martin-Jenkins progress, dismissing him for 24.

w5lv3.jpg

2 balls later Goodwin picks out the lone fielder on the boundary perfectly.

w6rw5.jpg

Mushy Ahmed then bags a first baller.

w7ow3.jpg

Bravo completes his hat-trick when Fulton takes the catch when Kirtly skies his first ball.

w8kr5.jpg

What an amazing over by Bravo, Four wickets for just 1 run.

13th Over

Robbie Joseph returns to the attack to mop up the tail and its mission accomplished. First he takes the wicket of Prior.

w9kh9.jpg

Then next ball Lewry to wrap up the Sussex innings for just 108 runs as Sussex fold like a card table in just 2 overs.

2nd Over

Kent dont get off to the best of starts when Fulton edges to Prior in the second over.

Rob Key must be wondering when a good start will turn into a really big score for him as Kirtley removes him for 30.

w2sm7.jpg

16th Over

It takes until the 16th over for Kent to lose their next wicket. Dexter goes for 25 as he tries to raise the pace a bit.

w3yq6.jpg

18th Over

Kent lose 2 wickets in the 18th Over. First Bravo edges to Prior.

w4ez6.jpg

Then Henderson is runout as confusion reigns between Henderson and Jones.

w5ft0.jpg
