Trescothick and Francis are together at the crease and charged with steering Somerset out of disaster. Trescothick opens his account with a huge six and Francis responds likewise. Trescothick manages another six but then Somerset suffer yet another setback as Francis is runout, leaving Somerset 21 for 3 wickets.

Blackwell goes after Cook and hits 3 sixes, 2 in the same over.. But Somerset are struggling to score with little else being scored except for the sixes. It takes until the 19th over for the first four of the match to be scored and after 20 overs Somerset are in big trouble at 52/3.
Min Patel takes the next wicket for Kent, bowling Blackwell for 22 and its 61/4 as Woodman walks out.
Woodman is back in the pavillion without the score increasing.
The final nail in Somerset's coffin is hammered in as Trescothick is bowled by Kemp for 28 and suddenly Somerset are 63 for the loss of six wickets.
Durston is next to fall, bowled by Patel for 3 in the 37th over with the score on 75.
Somerset make a brief and halfhearted fightback and manage to get to 102 before Cook gets his first wicket as Gazzard is caught on 17.
Cook strikes again in his next over and Somerset might as well go home now as Hildreth is bowled for 13.
The last wicket partnership puts the rest of the Somerset squad to shame and it takes until the final over of the innings before Khan takes the final wicket and Somerset are all out for 130.
