Shame on the loss and Tarrant's injury. But mate presentation wise and content. This is the best story you have done. It is far more detailed and the presentation is way more clear. Well done!
Keep up the excellent work Roo, this is starting to look really good. I was right too, when I predicted that the Eagles would get over the line by a close margin, although my guess was 7 points off.
Also, it's fantastic to see my beloved Melbourne getting over the line at Skilled Stadium by 2 points. Doesn't happen in real life so I'll have to take it here. Carn the Dees.

Round 4: Fremantle vs Richmond @ Subiaco Oval, Sunday, April 13th
1st quarter -
So welcome back to Subiaco oval, where it's Fremantle vs Richmond in the round 4 clash. Richmond won the toss and will be kicking to the right of screen. Sandilands vs Hughes in the ruck. The first quarter was a pretty enttertaining one. Although the Richmond fans will be filthy that their side is behind at quarter time. 3 behinds to start of the match to the Tigers, which were all gettable shots from inside 50. They should have taken their chances, and it wasn't until the 15th minute mark of the quarter until Daniel Connors kicked a simple goal, dead set in front from 35 metres out.
It was hard to get away on this massive oval, as both teams applied immense pressure in both midfields. But it was the home side that got up and running with the next 3 goals of the quarter all coming too, Kepler Bradley who has been in outstanding form over the last 2 weeks, Daniel Gilmore who slotted the quick reply to the Connors goal from Ruchmond just 2 minutes earlier, and when Ryan Murphy kicked a goal at the 6 minute mark, Richmond were starting to look slow, and those 3 behinds looked costly. But Cleve Hughes was resting in the forward line when he scored for the Tigers, after taking a strong pack mark, and slotted home a goal to bring back to the margin to 4 points at quarter time.
Richmond fans will be filthy with their side, as to quarter time they trail by 4 points, when they've had 47 more disposals then the Dockers, but they have been wasteful in their disposal when going forward. They have also played chip short football, as they have taken 31 mark to the Dockers just 18. Although the Dockers have been wasteful as well, that quarter going into their forward 50 19 times, with only scoring 5 times, they need to lift their game, but they do lead the match by 4 points at quarter time.
Fremantle have had good use out of their taller players. Bradley, Murphy and Gilmore have all featured in the goals, while Michael Johnson is rock solid in defence, picking up 8 disposals, while Murphy and Luke McPharlin have had good starts picking up 7 possesions each. Their Captain, Matthew Pavlich has been quiet, only touching the ball 6 times, and no score on the board to this stage of the game. Hayden Ballantyne has not played any minutes in the first quarter, but should be getting a run in this second term.
Well this second was even more even. Both sides had the same oppourtunity, and both scored pretty well. 4.2 to both sides for the quarter, and now up to half time, we still have Fremantle leading by 4 points. Early in the quarter, Fremantle got their noses in front and looked to be getting a slender lead on the young tigers. A very quick centre clearence back from the quarter time break, so the ball in the hands off Matty Pavlich who scored quickly, to give the Dockers a handy 2 goals break, but it was Connors from the Tigers who booted his second, just a minute after for the quick reply. The that's where the Dockers started to get a little move on, when Pavlich scored from outside 50, to kick his second goal in the space of 4 minutes, and then soonly followed by a wonderful goal from Kepler to kick his second of the match, it was a 3 goal lead to the Tigers.
But as the story has been, the Tigers wouldn't lie down. Connors again found some space in the Richmond forward line and got under the guard again to kick his 3rd of the half, and then when the ball was bounced, was again back into the Tigers forward line, when Richard Tambling swooped onto a loose ball and score. Richmond fighting back. Shane Tuck then closely score another for the Tigers to put the Tigers up by 2 points, but it was Paul Duffield who scored the last for the quarter for the Dockers, to again, get them to lead by 4 points at half time.
It has been a good game of footy here at Subiaco. It's intense stuff from two of the lower side teams in the competition.Althought the Tigers should be further in front. They have over used the ball, having 66 more disposals then the Dockers up to half time, and almost double the amount of marks, but it's the Dockers who lead this match. Cleve Hughes and Adam Pattison is playing very well against of the in form ruckmen in the competition. Hughes having 6 hitouts, and Pattison with 11, while Sandilands is struggling on 8. Richmond have wasted a lot of the ball in the midfield of the oval, while Fremantle have bought it into the forward 50 on 34 occasions, just 19 to the Tigers.
