Saw Avengers, decent, but not even close to the hype. Felt like any generic superhero movie, with more superheroes and famous actors, a bit like a different X-Men.

I think the Nolan Batman reboot is comfortably one of the best just because it doesn't ignore the darker, more mature nature of the comics and try and make it a film for the entire family. X-men should have been so good, and they were so average

X-Men 2 and Spideman 2 were brilliant. The first ones were decent but nothing special, then the third ones were pretty terrible.

God I hope Dark Knight Rises dosen't follow this trend.

The entire X-men films were sort of ruined for me by what they did to Rogue. Just destroyed her character. They were alright, just not as good as I'd hoped considering the comics and even the cartoon

I was quite a big X-Men fan, but never read the comics, and occasionally watched the show. I felt other than the last film, it was a very good series that should've surely satisfied fans and newcomers alike.

Couldn't agree more. I had an extreme fascination with Rogue of the cartoons and comics which gradually faded away as the X-Men trilogy (the movies) advanced. Dammit, I liked her more than Jean Grey who was basically the center of attention of X-men as far as female characters were concerned.

They turned her into an "American Teen Movie" kind of character. All shy and girl-next-door-ish. Instead of a sexy badass. Though they never used Gambit either, so they were always going to struggle to make me happy haha
