But all-in-all, I quite liked the X-Men movies, especially X-Men: First Class (which of course wasn't a part of the original trilogy). The WWII environment did it for me, and not to mention the excellent portrayal of Magneto.

Sir Ian McKellen as Magneto did a wonderful job in the X-Men trilogy. In hindsight, only he and Wolverine made it worth watching.

Puddleduck, have you seen X-Men Evolution and/or Wolverine and the X-Men? The latter was really good but was unfortunately cancelled after 2 seasons. I haven't seen the cartoon of the old X-Men before these but I think they went on for a number of seasons. I don't usually watch cartoons but I can make an exception for superhero cartoons.

Not sure, can never remember which one was which as they all kind of blended into one. I just grew up watching the cartoon Don't make them like used to....

I have watched X-Men Evolution as well as the one puddleduck posted the link to. But can't say I have watched all the seasons. There were a lack of regular telecasts here, as well as there were Pokemon and Transformers to divert me.

Watched "Avengers". A.W.E.S.O.M.E!!! Watching it again tomorrow in IMAX 3D (as a theatre which is 15 mins away from my place seems to have IMAX 3D for this film).

Nope. The movie released today all over US. Watched first day evening show (to say in Indian audience terms). I am watching it again tomorrow in IMAX 3D (I initially booked for IMAX 3D but one of my friends gave a bad review for 3D which made me change my decision; but another friend after watching it says its awesome).

Pretty good movie, didn't expect it to be so good. I had read the reviews and all of them were pretty positive and now I know why! Terrific acting from the whole cast.
