'Captain Phillips' - 9/10

Very good movie! Superb performances from the lead actors (Tom Hanks and Barkhad Abdi). Kept me hooked till the end. The background score added a lot to the suspense/drama.

Amazing Spiderman 2: GREAT acting as in the first movie by Garfield and Stone. Storyline was a bit meh. Not enough Spiderman, and too much Peter Parker for me. Action was good. Ending saved it for me with Gwen Stacy.

X-Men Days of Future Past- Fantastic storyline that could have proven tricky to execute with the two time periods, but it wasn't jerky or confusing at all. Great action and a satisfying conclusion (albeit slightly subdued).

Captain America Winter Soldier: This was a great movie. The storyline was brilliant and provided a social commentary on real-life organizations like SHIELD that other superhero movies often overlook. Well executed ending which makes you look forward to the sequel as well.

A crazy coincidence that I saw it today, indeed.

That's one thing the new Spider-verse Sony have created has going for it, great talents casted, even Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane, who was supposed to be in this film but ended up being cut because of what happens in the end and they felt Peter moved on too quickly, but I have to disagree with your thoughts on the ending, it seemed very forced to me, maybe it was because I knew what was coming.
