The Grizzlies (2019)
Inspiring story sad story with a somewhat happy ending... 8/10
Indian Horse (2018)
Man this movie was like a punch in the gut. A sad story about the dark chapter in Canada's history. 8/10
Canadian Bacon (1995)
It's too real... too real... unfortunately in today's political climate this seems almost like a documentary... okay not really but it was fine for what it was 5/10
The Snow Walker (2003)
I was in a mood for watching more indigenous movies, especially made in Canada and this once again did not disappoint. Not as good as the other two i watched earlier but still pretty good 7/10
The Grand Seduction (2014)
A decent enough movie to pass the time, nothing outstanding. 6/10
The Necessities of Life (Ce qu'il faut pour vivre) (2008)
Man this one once again just broke my heart... a great movie 9/10
The Outsiders (1983)
I was in two minds while watching this, on one had the movie was okay, but the acting was just great and saved the movie for me. 7/10
Paddington in Peru (2024)
Having watched and loved the first two Paddington movies this one just didn't quite hit the mark. Not saying it was bad, just got as good as the first two. 7/10
10 Rillington Place (1971)
Richard Attenborough and John Hurt, I mean that should be enough to get anyone to watch this movie. The fact they were able to film it at 10 Rillington Place as well just added to the vibe of the movie. 7/10
Hotel Rwanda (2004)
I saw a bit of this movie back in high school, but never seen the whole movie. It's still a great movie. 8/10
Ray (2004)
An icon in the music business. This movie was better than I was expecting. 8/10
Snake Eyes (1998)
The first 15 minutes were glorious. Just watching Nic Cage being his Nic Cagiest. The rest of the movie is where this falls short. 6/10
I Am Mother (2019)
The concept and idea of the movie were better than the execution. I mean it still works I just was left with more questions than answers. 6/10
Cube (1997)
Much better than I was expecting. I may check out the sequels as well sometime 7/10
Dirty Dancing (1987)
I've had this on my watchlist for a long time. It was worth a watch but nothing more than a generic love story in my opinion. 8/10
Poor Things (2023)
Finally got around to this and it was interesting. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either. It was just fine. 7/10

It's been years since I've been to a musical, this made me want to watch more live. 8/10
The Shape of Water (2017)
I mean who amongst us hasn't wanted to be with a mermaid.... right... right.... Anyways movie was really good. 8/10
Black Christmas (1974)
Another Canadian movie and what some consider to be the first Slasher movie. Also the origin of the trope of the caller/killer being inside of the house not to mention a young Lois Lane (Margot Kidder). It was much better than I was expecting. 8/10
Oblivion (2013)
I put this on in the background while working and this just was boring... It was just a generic Tom Cruise action movie and not a very good one. 3/10
Logan's Run (1976)
Another movie that I find conflicting, while the idea and concept behind it are good and decent, the execution was just okay. This is a movie I can see someone doing a sequel set even more in the future to see what would happen in the aftermath of the movie.. like is said good idea and concept just movie was okay... 7/10
Spotlight (2015)
After watching this, I was looking at other peoples reviews of this and found someone said they didn't like this because none of the characters in the movie were interesting. I felt the exact opposite, I liked this movie because the characters weren't interesting, it didn't take away from the plot and the the story which was the main focus of this movie. 8/10
Companion (2025)
It was fine... nothing new or great... just fine.. 4/10
My Bodyguard (1980)
It was much better than I was expecting... I didn't expect much so i'm glad with what i got 5/10
St. Elmo's Fire (1985)
I didn't get it in the beginning to the point I almost considered turning it off and just watching it another time. I'm glad I stuck with it this story about a group of friends who just recently graduated from college. 7/10
Cinderella Man (2005)
Based on a true story this was pretty good. I mean it's no Rocky (even though this is more a Rocky story than any Rocky sequel after 2) this was a good enough watch 7/10
The Warriors (1979)
Nothing about this movie should've worked in 1979 let alone in 2025 but man this just works somehow.. 8/10

I just watched it because i'd seen the first two... i liked it more than i did 2... it was just fine 5/10
The Wicker Man (1973)
I had never seen the original nor the Nic Cage remake before, i do know about the bees.... This was much better than I was expecting. 7/10
Life Is Beautiful (La vita è bella) (1997)
If you look at almost any greatest movies of all time list, this is usually up at the top and I can see why. If this movie does not make you feel anything I don't know what to say. Highly Highly recommend to anyone that hasn't seen it 9.5/10
The Offence (1973)
Sean Connery plays the part perfectly... the movie itself may not be everybody's cup of tea but it was still worth it for performances of Sean Connery and Ian Bannen 6/10
Blue Steel (1990)
A movie which the idea was better than the execution. I really liked the plot of the movie, but for whatever reason this didn't work... which is too bad I wish considering after this movie the director went on the make Point Break which was infinitely better (she also made The Hurt Locker and Zero Dark Thirty which i haven't seen yet). 5/10
The Sting (1973)
The only negative thing I could say about this is, sometimes the music doesn't match the movie but I could tell why it was used... other than that this movie was fantastic. 8/10
Room (2015)
If there ever was an Oscar-bait movie this would be one of them.. I'm not saying that as a bad thing because this movie was good 8/10
My Friend Dahmer (2017)
Almost like an origin story for one of the worst serial killers of all time, it was a pretty good movie.. 7/10
Superbad (2007)
Man, this movie holds up so well.... It was the movie that everyone in high school was quoting all the time and it still holds up.. I haven't laughed as much at a movie in years... 9/10
Possession (1981)
Weird and Intense are the only two ways I can think of to describe this movie... It's definitely not a movie I will soon forget let's just put it that way especially that scene (if you've seen it then you know what i'm talking about). 6/10
To Live and Die in L.A. (1985)
Another odd one, I've heard nothing but great things about this movie and yeah it was good... but was it great... maybe it just wasn't for me.. 6/10
Captain America: Brave New World (2025)
Really had no interest to watch this, i figured i'll watch it anyways just to stay updated on the MCU... it was fine... 4/10
Welcome to Mooseport (2004)
I watched this a few days after the news about Gene Hackman came out. I remember when this came out people hated it because it was Gene Hackman's final film.. and yes while it's not ideal for Hackman who had a fantastic career ending it with a generic comedy wasn't the best way to end his career... this movie wasn't all bad, had a few decent laughs... 4/10
Bros (2022)
It was just a mediocre rom-com.. nothing great, nothing bad... 5/10
Sicario (2015)
I'm still trying to remember why I didn't watch this when it first came out. It was such a good movie... I really enjoyed it.. 8/10
Greatest Days (2023)
It starts out as a generic musical but man it hits you near the end like a punch in the gut... 7/10

Wow.. just wow... Charlize Theron was fantastic... 8/10
Boston Strangler (2023)

American Pie (1999)
After I had such a great time watching Superbad, I wanted to go back and watch the other movie was popular in high school which was the American Pie series.. and while this did not make me laugh as much it was still better than I was expecting... 6/10
American Pie 2 (2001)
Since I watched 1, i figured i'll watch the rest to remind myself... this was probably my least favourite of the bunch... 3/10
American Wedding (2003)
This was surprisingly better than I remembered 6/10
American Reunion (2012)
This one was also just okay 4/10
Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (1986)
And now for something completely different... partially based on a true story Michael Rooker was fantastic as Henry.. 8/10
This Is Spinal Tap (1984)
This movie had been in my watchlist for years... and it just wasn't for me... I chuckled at a few jokes here and there but I just never got into it... 4/10
The Beyond (1981)
I don't know how I feel about this.. the special effects this movie used are so much better than any CGI that's used today so i'll have to give it props for that... other than that the characters were just so stupid I don't know... I enjoyed the movie for what it was but the story wasn't the best.... so yeah i'm conflicted ... 6/10
Shaun of the Dead (2004)
Do i even need to say much about this? If you haven't seen it watch it.. this was like my 10th time watching this and it's still fantastic.. 9/10
Lady Vengeance (2005)
This is part of director Park Chan-wook's Vengeance Trilogy and while I haven't seen Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance.. I have seen Oldboy and it is one of my favourite movies of all time this was good.. but not as good as Oldboy which to be fair is a pretty high bar... 8/10

I mean... it was fine... was it best picture worthy... personally not for me but I can see why it won... 6/10
