The margin could have been even bigger had it not been for the brief resistance by Mohammad Shahzad and tailender Carst Posthuma who put up 61 runs for the last wicket.

Victor Trumper helped his team pile up a mountain of runs with two brilliant centuries(105 & 155) in the match.​

What a match for us! Glad to see Don Bradman and Victor Trumper finally finding the form. Dennis bowled great guns while Warwick and Bill looked unplayable in first and second innings respectively. Trumper was the man for us and was ably supported by Don and Ponting who scored his third hundred in as many matches.
