Teague Takes the job
Today Jack Teague, born in Somerset and grew up in Yatton, has now taken over at Anfield after Benitez left for personal reasons.

Teague was asked a few questions at the conference.

What are your aims this season?

I believe this year we should make the top 3 and i am hoping to become the first manager to lead Liverpool to glory in the premiership.In Europe we hope to make the Quater-Finals at least and i know i have the squad to do it.

Will you bring in some new players?

Yes i currently have a few players in mind that would be great additions to the side.I believe that these players if they come will help the club progress into the future.

And finaly do you think you'll get along with the managers in the premiership?

I believe i am a strong character and if i do not get on then there could be some fireworks but i believe that i will get along fine with most managers.

Suprise signing at Anfield
Liverpool today signed ,the young Brentford striker, DJ Campbell.Teague stated "He is a great, promosing youngster that has great faith in himself.I believe he will do a great job in the Red of Liverpool."
It is still believed that Teague is targeting other players and will probably bring in a few foreign players.

In other news Teague has apparently put Djimi Troare and Fernando Morientes on the Transfer list.It is believed that Stuttgart and Florentina have offered for these players but had the deal changed by Liverpool and they rejected the negotation from Liverpool.

Reds Smash Dudelang
Last night Liverpool played Dudelang in the Champions league 1st qualifying round.Cisse scored 4,Crouch 3,Gerrard 1 and Riise 1.The score finished 9-0 but Dudelang will miss Luc Codello for the 2nd leg as he was sent off for bringing down Luis Garcia as last man.

Man of the match cisse had this to say:

We uhhhhh all played uh well and i was uh pleased with my performance and the uh 4 goals

Teague said this:

I am very pleased with the lads performance tonight.Djibril played well as well as crouch up front.I think the midfield worked great together and Gerrard played a captains role.But my Man of the match tonight was Riise as he passed the ball fantasticly and was solid in defence.His freekicks were spot on and i look forward to see his reaction to the performance.
