An unfortunate stalling of the Neptune Gaming's chase vs Fire In Babylon left them with 0 wins in three. A record that matches Lucky Lockdown Lunatics. They face each other in the last match of Group B, so one of them will win at least one game. FIB join Thunder, Gilly's Grubs and Montreal Midgets on 6 pts. The winner of Thunder and Grubs will determine who tops the group after this round of matches.

Meanwhile at The Grange there was the biggest upset we've seen in the tournament. A very poor last ten overs (last 14 overs really) from San Francisco Suckers (very much down to some wiley bowling from Sir Ravi Bopara) left them well short of a par score. To the amazement of everyone The Glasgow Grubbers, led by Kraigg Brathwaite and Mohammad Shahzad, knocked the runs off with relative ease.

This leaves just Ducks XI and The Lazy Borises winless (apart from the two team mentioned above).

San Francisco's defeat leaves Blocktown Brotherhood at the top of Group C. San Fran remain second, but could be joined by Spartans if they win their game in hand.

not playing for the team, big time Charlies inhibiting the performances of timid flowers like Cook, Mo and Leachy. I’d drop them if I were you.

Unfortunately sponsorship deals have suffocated team dynamics. Even though we are shite we are pulling massive amounts of money in on exclusive sponsorship deals:

Alistair Cook: 100m W$ per season from Woolite washing detergents: "Its Boring As F*ck But Smells Nice"

Jack Leach: 75m W$ per season from Specsavers and Shine O Furniture Polish "Even Turds Come Up Lovely With Shine O"

Moeen Ali: 75m W$ per season from "Sleep Easy Mattresses: Guaranteed No Movement Whatsoever."

In a press conference this morning, San Francisco Suckers captain Eoin Morgan was asked if he was disappointed by yesterday's shock defeat by the Glasgow Grubbers. Morgan said "Not really. I thought we batted and bowled really well until the last 20 overs of each innings. These things happen in cricket."

Asked about his own performance with the bat, (Morgan has scores of 0, 13 and 22 from his three matches) replied "I'm very pleased with the progress I'm making. I'm hitting my peak just at the right time."
