Making bowling more enjoyable, seeing weather/pitch effects etc. - invitation to playtest

Starting to feel better about the AI batting at this stage. Wickets aren't falling left and right.....They are playing safer shots. Slow run rate at the moment though, but it's not a T20....lol. wickets that have fallen are :

Caught and bowled x 1
Caught at deep mid-on x 1
Edged to keeper from spinner x 1
Caught at straight on x 1

Weather : Clear all the way
Difficulty : Legend

Loving the fact that Pardoe is on 65*

Plenty of hit and misses though.

Interesting that your playing on legend. I normally play on veteran but found the edges dried up as soon as i left PRO.

In their second innings, I will use a more attacking field.

yeah, i find a 7-2 or 6-3 field, leaving some gaps in semi-orthodox places gets a good result. i generally have 3 slips, gully, deep backward point or square gully, cover, long-off, deep mid-on, fine leg.

End of the 1st day. Run rate still low. Got Pardoe out from a nice LBW (miss hit).

Wickets fallen :

Caught and bowled x 1
Caught at deep mid-on x 2 (Not happy about this. Deep mid-on was fast enough to make the catch at mid-on. lol)
Edged to keeper from spinner x 1
Caught at straight on x 1
LBW from spinner x 1

Weather : Still clear skies all the way
Difficulty : Legend

Just started my West Indies v England series. Then my computer had a mad one and had to start again! But these clips are from the first 2 wickets.

Will be interesting to see what happens when I re start.

I have the pitch on random. Weather was sunny.

This is a first for me......

Bowler : Medium-Fast

Bowled a slower ball, and AI tried a reverse sweep on it.....missed, and got him out LBW.....First time that I see the AI trying to play a reverse sweep from a Med-Fast bowler.lol

Looked awesome though. Will post videos later on.

Oh, and the AI challenged the LBW call.lol

Leave them as you dont bowl doosras when batting!

Quite the innings from the AI.....Scored 400 runs, before I could get them all out. Definitely loving the bigger challenge.

In total, there were 3 edge, with 2 being a wicket, and 1 being me not catching it (I use manual fielding).

Batsman played very safe, with only taking risks where there were no fielders (Except for the odd shot that got caught out in the field).

The last wickets, was a bouncer, played to the keeper. I'm thinking it should be seen as an edge? lol

The closing batsmen played good (maybe too good?)
Taking a break, and ill start my batting session later.
