Mar 19 : Australia vs Pakistan

This batting approach is shocking. Ponting is now out lucky to survive the previous ball. We have gone no where with this slow scoring. Haddin is the worst of the lot, who on earth goes at a strike rate of 50 and knowing his crap he'll get out and leave us in big trouble.

Yeah Haddin's hit out or get out approach isn't far away. At least if we have Clarke and Huss we'll rotate the strike and get into a rhythm.

Those stumps look a bit high, are they regulation size or what? AC should demand the ICC investigate.

Riaz 2 overs for 20 while everyone else is going for mid 3's. Must've gotten a new jacket before the game.

Being this is the last world cup for Shoaib Akthar, why Afridi is leaving him out of Playing XI???

I think that Ponting is going the Ganguly way. A great batsman in his own right but i think he needs a breather from the game. This WC certainly hasn't worked for him at all.

Another thing, I think that Punter should have walked after nicking that ball. He is a great enough player to let a poor knock go by, a string of measly scores wont tarnish anything . To me just like Sachin he is World Class :thumbs

Kinda of mixed about how I woudl feel if he did that now. On the one end we get Hussey in on the other hes wasted all those balls. If was going to do that he should have done it at that start.

Yeah true, but I can't see him just poking around much longer, not getting any singles or two's anyway. I forgot about White too, he's in next and long overdue.

Agree on both points. Nothing much else to add.

I still think that White, Smith and Hussey can change the game in last 15-20 overs with their ability of hard strokes. Colombo's pitch can get 300 easily. Still 300+ is possible for AUS, remember what Ross Taylor had done in death overs against this Pakistani attack. Don't worry. :thumbs

Except Sachin, every other player thinks he is not out, even if clearly states that he is out. They always cheat like hell for selfish purpose. :facepalm

That's why one said, "There are two kind of players in the world, one is Sachin Tendulkar and the other is all remaining." :clap

My God what a pathetic knock by Haddin. As I feared he wasted all those balls and gets out. Leaves the rest of the batsmen up the creek with a very small paddle.

Naa man, Punter & Gilly weren't like that. Gilly would walk straight away if he thought that he was a goner. With Ponting you feel that he is like a fallen giant who's hurt & wants to shut his critics for good but, I think he needs some time in the shade to think and prepare for that.

Small paddle indeed, lets hope that Pup can stay long & sort the matter out.

I already felt a couple of days that this match was crucial for Pakistan. If they will win this match I can see them getting through to the semi-finals. If they lose I can't see them going further then the quarterfinals.

I agree with your point about Gilly, but not Ponting.
Punter will not improve. As he has lost his form, he also has lost control over his anger during tournament. :p
