Did I say that they did, I clearly said they gave their wickets away which, they did. Pakistan had this match in their hand but they didn't hustle, they didn't fight, they played stupid shots at the wrong time and most importantly they GAVE their wickets away. Like Afridi popping up a full toss, Hafeez doing he's weird paddle sweep against a pace bowler, Younus hit the ball straight to Raina.

Stupid things like that, they simply underperformed.

From that stage, holding your nerves tight and scything through the lineup with some mediocre bowlers at whom people lob verbal grenades everyday is not something that happens regularly. The Pakistani batsmen did play bad shots, but that doesn't eclipse the fact that Indian bowlers, who had conceded 300+ or close to 300 runs in almost all the previous matches against big teams, were excellent today, whether in terms of line, length or accuracy.

This win should shut the mouths of Zayed Cricket and Paki00 who were posting nothing but crap before the game started. They will not even dare to come close to this thread for sometime now!

To explain the outcome of the match in simple words - Pakistan, barring a couple of players, were their usual self. They were pathetic while fielding, their bowlers gave away too many extras and their batsmen failed to build partnerships. Their premier bowler was thrashed all over the park by Indian batsmen. Though, one has to say that Wahab Riaz and Ajmal bowled really well.

India, on the other hand, were very professional. Their batsmen posted a decent total on the board, their bowlers bowled in the right areas and their fielding was brilliant. Sachin was lucky, but his contribution to the Indian total was priceless in the end. One should also applaud the bowling of Harbhajan who took two crucial wickets.

Here we come, Mumbai!
