Mar 6 - England v South Africa

A bowling wicket finally, it makes for a much more exciting match compared to these flat batting wickets.

Need another quick wicket, haven't England lost games from better positions than this before?

vs Australia (World Cup 2003)

England 204/8 (50 overs)
Australia 208/8 (49.4 overs) - having been 135/8

vs West Indies (ICC Trophy final 2004)

England 217 (49.4 overs)
West Indies 218/8 (48.5 overs) - having been 147/8

Poor chase by SA tbh. Reckon they're still going to slowly get over the line. Going to be another heartache for England if they JUST lose this.

As much as I love high scoring matches, a low scoring tussle is just good if not better. C'mon England....

I hate high scoring matches tbh, batsman have it so easy these days its great to see low scoring games like this.

Btw who is the South African commentator??

I agree, same goes for Test matches. Unfortunately the ICC and grounds don't like matches that finish early, especially Tests, even though the entertainment alone is worth the entry fee and more. I remember going to watch West Indies at Lords, think England scored near 400 runs in the day for like a couple of wickets and might have been when Robert "The Don" Key scored a double. Boy was that boring.

Whether England win or lose, this has certainly not been boring

Oh no Strauss, why bring on Yardy?? Pretty much handing South Africa the game :facepalm

Or not lol....

Laughable ain't it, ironic too given Strauss copied Smith in opening with a leftie that he should get said leftie out.

All together now, 10 green bottlers trying to lose the game, 10 green bottlers trying to lose the game, and if one green bottler should accidentally fall get out to the shy-test bowler in the England side, then that green bottler should be shot against a wall.
