Mar 8 - New Zealand v Pakistan

Welll Kiwis have thrashed Zim and Kenya in no time and we've not been too impressive against Canada so it wont gonna be easy for us and they have a good chance of Spoiling our Party

For me before the start of his game its Pak55% and Nzl 45% and Pak dont take too long to throw all advantages :lol

We smash minnows but crumble when facing a proper side.

It's quite annoying that this match starts at 9AM GMT. That's 10PM over here so at most we can only realistically watch the first innings. As it happens, I have an 8AM lecture the next day so I don't think I'll be able to watch any of the match. The other matches that were during the day over in the subcontinent were great because they started at 5PM over here, so I could come home from uni and the cricket would start not too long afterwards.

Unlucky man, 8am lectures suck. i'm pretty lucky I don't start until 2.30 tommorow :D

This is our first day night game as well isn't it??

Yea first day night game of the tournament for us. If only this match was tomorrow night, I have no lectures on Thursday...

I missed the last WC due to the same timing problem.the matches used to end at 3 am and i couldn't stay awake for that long.Thank God we were knocked out early so i didn't miss the matches :lol

I'm kind of glad this match is a D/N match, as I've got a crap load of business reading to do before tomorrow, which I would have been struggling to do with the match on.

I assume all of the knockout matches will be starting at 10pm here, so a few all nighters might be instore when they come around. The good thing is 11 out of my 15 classes are recorded, and only one of those four classes that I have to go to starts in the morning (Thursday).

why do they have to show the cricket show in a night match? i was looking forward to hearing the nz national anthem for once :facepalm

Ryder is out, and Oram is in. This means How is still playing. And we are batting first. We are going to lose

Ryder's a massive loss.

I much preferred Fleming's approach of chasing, unless it's a green paradise, Vettori always bats first when more often than not our batsmen don't turn up.

No Ryder and McCullum gone first over. Not good. Taylor and How better score some big runs.

Nice one McCullum, oh well least he did the job vs. Zimbabwe.

Lol @ How probably can't even see it out there.

Looks like same old from How, block out a few maidens then get out..
