Pace bowlers are not mystery bowlers. The offcutters at the beginning have put batsmen off. What would they do? Learn to play against them and do some analysis on how it comes from the hand and learn to play. That's what so many batsmen have done. To learn to play against these types of deliveries and change in pace.

That is what Mustafiz failed to do. He didn't adapt, like many others like Faulkner (was a slower ball specialist), Taskin Ahmed (Burst onto the scene quite effectively) . On the other hand, someone like Bhuvi, he has been adapting since 2016, changing his strategies from time to time to get the best results.

On a serious note give that guy a break played almost the entire Aussie matches this season as a fast bowler and the last test finished in SA on Tuesday where he was absolutely splendid... so he arrived actually late in India missed the practice sessions as well am sure the MI management will try him after a couple of games.

Yeah behrendorff is pretty good, he's like starc but relies more on swing than pace
