So your only change would be Unadkat in for Sanjay? I have not seen David bowling so don't have an idea regarding that. If he could be the like for like replacement for Krunal (don't get me wrong, I mean the style of play), then we can go with three out and out seamers + Sams.
Tim David is muscular with the bat and can clear any boundary in the world if he gets into that zone. His bowling records aren't great but the kind of flat trajectory he bowls can definitely help on sub-continent pitches.

@Parth D waiting for your inputs
First of all, I think they missed a trick when they retained SKY instead of Kishan. Nothing against SKY. But if we look at auction ergonomics, retaining Kishan and then going for SKY in the auction would have saved them few crores which is a big deal.

Moving on to their auction strategy, for the first time in some years, they have changed the way they go into an auction.

They have always played the waiting game but they always tend to go for value for money buys and find those people who are hidden gems.

This time they had 2-3 big names and went for them no matter the price. This is what they used to do in early 2010s.

I think they did decent. Could have been better. For the first time again, their calculations went off as they expected a low price for some people, whom they couldn't get eventually due to bidding wars and then had to go to back ups.

Overall I think, they got 60% of what they intended and the other 40% were their recovery picks.

7/10 for the squad. However, if their punt on the scout-finds works, they can still pull it off as their core is still strong.

Aren't you a CSK supporter? :spy

I felt Dhoni being your local player would have an influence on you. :p
Nopes never .

I started watching cricket in 2011 with the CWC . Supported KKR from then because of Gambhir (looked handsome personality to me:p) . Still KKR in the heart a little bit . But Mumbai & Dilli current teams with full support .
