But a real test comes in a challenging situation like taking a wicket in crucial stage or surviving at the crease while batting when the well settled batsmen needed u in the crucial stage, say avoiding a follow on... etc

My First four! It felt great. Right out of the middle of the bat, eyes on the ball, and see it race away for four! A big smile came on my face, and a huge sigh of relief.

Inzamam tried to get our run-rate up a bit but he edged one straight to the keeper as he was gone. Not good. Now I'll have to change my approach. But it was already so hard for me to keep myself on the pitch. Shoaib came out as I met up with him. The only words I could think of were "Good Luck".

I guess those words did not affect him. He gave a simple catch and he was on his way back to the dressing room. Danish came out, and I told him "Please, please don't get out! Please!". But that didn't quite help him either. He was soon gone.

Now the over was over, It was me on strike, and I knew I couldn't rely on Asif to bat. So the only option was attack. I danced down and smacked it for a huge six. Confidence was circling in me.

It works once, but it doesn't work twice. I tried it again and this time, I was beaten all ends up. My score was 34 and I was out! Good enough I guess.

Score at the end of our innings. A good 34 by me.​

Hard Work with the ball​

Although Asif had struck early, my bowling was smacked for 2 straight fours. There was tons of pressure on me, as I had to deliver with a wicket. But I just couldn't beat the bat.

Ouch. Ouch.​

I was taken off the attack at once. But 10 overs later I got another go at the batsman and I didn't dissapoint! Clean through him! The stumps flying and I was in delight!

Shoaib ripped through them with style as he bagged 4! Danish had come on to bamboozle the tail and boy did he do it in style! He got one to spin and bounce as the batsman top egded it went in the air. It was well taken by me!

That would be the end of this match! Pakistan won it by an Innings and 56 runs. I had a really good game. Here were my stats:

Bowling: 3/45
Batting: 34 Runs
Fielding: 2 Catches

what a debut pak, shame about ending up with the tail, but that will happen as you are batting at 8, perhaps you could be moved up to try and get a bigger score

Sussex Sign ME!​

I have just learned that Sussex have singed me to replace Mushtaq Ahmed as he retires from all forms of Cricket. I am so delighted that I have gotten the job. I will have to go to Sussex as soon as the Tour of South Africa is over. This should be a good opportunity to prove to many people the skills I bring.
