4 day game at Yorks, not expecting victory. Decide to stick with a similar team that helped win the last game.

The boys done good. Didn't bat much better, but bowled really well. Relegation looks to be unlikely now, and the squad will remain the same for the final game of the season at Lancs. Big shouts going out to Hildreth who had a fine game, Vaughan who got a nice ton and my general bowling attack.

Not too upset with defeat here, i actually came close to winning. My second innings batting is what lost me the game here. Munday took 9 wickets in the first innings, but could not recreate that from second time around. Well, i hope to bring in some new faces next year, ill be back with transfer updates and what not when its done.

A really pleasing victory. Collins and Pathan ***** me first innings, but a change of approach (something i was lacking last season) second innings saw me rack up a great score, and a fine 200 odd opening partnership. I got a lead of 280 odd, with 2 and a half sessions left. This was just enough of a carrot for Surrey to come out and chase. The plan worked wonders and i had the game won with time to spare. Tahir stole the show, and picked up 11 wickets in the game.

Jesus Christ. These are the sort of games that give me grey hairs. My top order failed again, but the middle and late order came to the rescue. Trego had a great game with the ball and the bat, and deserved his MOTM award. It got down to the final two overs, 8 runs an over needed, i decided to play it ball by ball. A great victory here. I made a solid start to the game, batting very defensive, i saw off the new ball. Made steady but slow progress. The lower order let me down, and i fell 50 odd runs short of the target of 400. That was disappointing, but Carberry played a lovely knock. Patient, and precise, just what i needed. Thanks to Collingwood Durham actually passed my total. Despite a dodgy start, Hildreth and Trego knuckled down and set us on our way, it gave me a target to defend, which turned out to be more than enough. The pitch was turning sharply, and Banks and Munday loved every minute of it. Banks is having a great season in both forms of the game thusfar.

Boooo Yaaaa! Wow, what a batting performance. I have never seen such great batting from my own team on this game. Lost early wickets, decided ok, if i lose one more i go defensive. I didn't lose one for a while, Slog Bam Wallop. Departed to all parts of the ground by a sensational knock from Hildreth. Edwards also played very well, he and Hildreth stopped just short of a full raping of Worcs. Pretty much everyone got in on the fun apart from the opening pair and the bowlers. Of course, Worcs had no chance of chasing down a total like this, Mitchell and Ali the only ones to provide any resistance. Impressive bowling from Tahir and banks again. Methinks Tahir might get an England call up before long, which worries me because i don't have anyone to fill his shoes. Hildreth has also been called up which is a blow.

Poetry in motion. That is what its like to watch this opening pair bat currently. Superb knocks, top draw stuff. Edwards, with a fine a century as you could ask for off of 80 something odd balls. Superb cricket that is a pleasure to watch. But, as always, form is temporary, class is permanent. Bowling was solid, on a good pitch. Banks, again continued his excellent form for me, and is deserving of his new contract signed in the off season.

Well, where do i begin? What a batting performance, very impressive. Hardwick is playing top cricket, and a England future looks to be on the horizon for him. Carberry is also playing well in what was his first limited overs game of the season. Turner came in and play well with the ball too, picking up early wickets. Suppiah continues his good season as well, and has established himself as a decent lower order batsmen, and an effective one day bowler. A crushing victory. And Shantry finished wicketless.

A great victory here. I made a solid start to the game, batting very defensive, i saw off the new ball. Made steady but slow progress. The lower order let me down, and i fell 50 odd runs short of the target of 400. That was disappointing, but Carberry played a lovely knock. Patient, and precise, just what i needed. Thanks to Collingwood Durham actually passed my total. Despite a dodgy start, Hildreth and Trego knuckled down and set us on our way, it gave me a target to defend, which turned out to be more than enough. The pitch was turning sharply, and Banks and Munday loved every minute of it. Banks is having a great season in both forms of the game thusfar.

Boooo Yaaaa! Wow, what a batting performance. I have never seen such great batting from my own team on this game. Lost early wickets, decided ok, if i lose one more i go defensive. I didn't lose one for a while, Slog Bam Wallop. Departed to all parts of the ground by a sensational knock from Hildreth. Edwards also played very well, he and Hildreth stopped just short of a full raping of Worcs. Pretty much everyone got in on the fun apart from the opening pair and the bowlers. Of course, Worcs had no chance of chasing down a total like this, Mitchell and Ali the only ones to provide any resistance. Impressive bowling from Tahir and banks again. Methinks Tahir might get an England call up before long, which worries me because i don't have anyone to fill his shoes. Hildreth has also been called up which is a blow.

Well, where do i begin? What a batting performance, very impressive. Hardwick is playing top cricket, and a England future looks to be on the horizon for him. Carberry is also playing well in what was his first limited overs game of the season. Turner came in and play well with the ball too, picking up early wickets. Suppiah continues his good season as well, and has established himself as a decent lower order batsmen, and an effective one day bowler. A crushing victory. And Shantry finished wicketless.
