New Delhi Commonwealth Games 2010.

I've got the VIP passes for tomorrow's semi final matches of Table Tennis. It should pretty interesting, considering I am a decent enough TT player myself and have represented my school, and am representing my uni at present.

I was rather trying to get the passes for the closing ceremony, but they are giving it only to those who are closely associated with the games.

What about Badminton? Cant you go there?

Have any of you seen any of the hockey, i watched the England-India semi-final on the tele today, and it went all the way to a penalty shoot out, a great game that has made me regret not watching more of during the games.

Seen India's hockey matches only.

LOl at the Aussie's 4x400m team gold medal celebration. A bit of cricket happening.

Can't believe India made it to the hockey final. I suspect some referee foul play. :spy :p

I remember watching hockey closely in the days of the PHL. Don't know if that still goes on now. Also a wonderful youngster by the name of Jugraj Singh who got injured in a motorcycle accident after having one of his best tournaments. I think he's back now but is not nearly as good.

Gotta admit, the last few days have been better by India. Bigger crowds, better organisation and no terrorist attack (touch-wood). I suppose that comes with all the gold medals on offer now.

I am back after watching the Table Tennis semi finals, and I am pleased to say that I enjoyed every bit of it. The stadium was quality. The crowd turned up in good numbers too. About 75% of the seats were occupied, which is very good considering it was a working day.

I shook hands with a couple of Australian players (Frank was one of them) and Sharad Kamal (undoubtedly the best TT player that India have produced).

Will upload a few pics of the stadium later.

India have won the gold in Table Tennis men doubles defeating Singapore who have looked brilliant in all the other formats of the game till now. Brilliantly played by Sharad Kamal and Saha earning India their first ever gold in CWG Table tennis.
