New Zealand in Australia Nov-Dec 2008 Feb 2009

Taylor hit that. Bucknor has got to go i'm afraid. This really isn't our day. Didn't think McCullum would be able to open.

Haddin skied a bunch of balls and when Guptill does it it goes straight to third man, lol. Well done Australia.

Bucknor misses another inside edge? Ferguson got boned in the Aussie innings by Bucknor too missing a bigger inside edge by young Callum.

Totally agree. I've never seen White play well - ever. Admittedly I haven't seen Victoria play in a while, but his efforts for Australia and Bangalore have been pretty awful.

And agreed with your selection too. Bring in Heal for White and Voges or maybe a specialist opener for D.Hussey.

I've missed his domestic knocks but the place where it matters most the International arena I haven't seen it.

Have to stick with the opening pair for this series at the very least, see how it goes for 3 games. Voges is in form like Ferguson and the way he played today I would get Voges in over Dussey. Could finally add the Symonds player we have been missing.

Bucknors eyesight is gone he shouldnt be umpiring

Also the reason we batted so well was the change in players attitude.
After over 5 they no longer looked to just survive they looked to score runs an attack the bowling.
Even when new batsmen came in they looked to be aggresive.
That is why we got a decent total.

An The way MHussey played today is why he got pushed up the order it seems a waste to have him only able to score a quick 50.

It's not like Warner wasn't trying to up the aggression in the exact same way Haddin did, it's just Haddin is a better batsman. We got a decent total because Haddin and Clarke batted well, it's that simple. Don't reckon the later batsmen would've been as cavalier if the openers fell cheaply.

I reckon hes good at 6, when hes higher yes he can make bigger scores but they won't go at the same strike rate as today. Also last match I don't know if it was fatigue or just tactics but he didn't up the tempo in the final few overs like he did today.

Poor Hilfy don't know how he missed that but it's starting to prove costly.

What a ripper  sensational catch taken by Bear :hpraise

In India match Raina also went out at the same time too :p

Today both we and SRL will win :happy

God! Can Fulton just looks awful.

He played a very selfish innings, he needs to work the ball around a bit more, instead of bashing towards the rope.

Cumming must play in Adelaide

We were looking decent again and then Fulton goes. He was too slow. Need brilliance from Broom and for McCullum to get us home.

Styris played for Auckland today. I wonder if he's fully fit. Would love him back, we need his experience desperately.

Fulton showed some good signs including that hit before he got out but yea too slow. Screaming catch by Mr fielder. Johnson seems to be more economical but isn't picking up the wickets you expect.

1. Hilfy cant take catches
2. Hilfy cannot whip bails off
3. Hily cannot even gather a ball.
4. Hilfy dont get wikets

Bottomline : Hilfy is uselss

He was quite lucky really. I'm a fan of Fulton, but I think he bats too slowly at times. His shot range seems limited.

At very worst we need 100 runs from the next 15 overs and still need just under 100 off the last 10 (where we'd take the powerplay)
