The perfect place to bring up a 100 for Ponting. Shame that we lost Symonds this early he was set and ready to go. Does give Haddin a chance to show his lower order abilities.

Haddin could even get a gig in the team as just a batsman. He doesn't need to be the keeper. But who to drop is the problem. Drop hopes?

This is what I like about Haddin but yea it's very hard to get him into the side. Hopes bowling has been handy enough and he has shown he can smack the ball when needed so hard to drop him off.

Ponting is once again in supreme touch, 6 100s against NZ too sure does love playing them.

Ponting is just an amazing player, though I think he could have turned it up a notch at the end a bit more and aimed for 300. Good death bowling however, not much to hit. Oram was excellent. Fantastic display. To think, if we'd have had Ponting early....Ponting has 4 hundreds and a fifty in his last 5 games againt us you know. Without Bondy for most if not all. Need him back, to get his bunny

No way, ball was on the grass. But it was only Hopkins. I'm sure it wouldn't have mattered a lot. They still should have gone upstairs. Clarke should have known it was grassed also.

Another bad batting display apart from Styris and Gillespie. I just think we need to stick with this combo for a while until things settle. Fulton comes back in, probably for Sinclair. Vincent can go try get some form for Auckland, and if he regains it, bring him back in and obviously Bondy in for Gillespie. Though I doubt he'll be right for the Bangladesh ODIs.

I'm never disappointed losing to Australia, as they should always beat us. Any win is to be throughly celebrated. Beating Bangladesh should be a walk in the park now. f we were to lose any of those games i'd be fuming. England we should also beat in the ODI's though they are improving. probably lose miserably in the tests i'd say.

Fulton definitely should be in the side for the Blackcaps. How was struggling against us but I think he should be given a lifeline after a good series in SA.
