samaraweera for Sri Lanka is just like Laxman for India. No one talks about them but they have got 50+ average in over 50 matches,, sooo underrated players
It would of been good if he had of lasted this test match though. He's worse then Watson, first test in almost a year and he get's injured bowling 10 overs.
I would love to see the Oram of a few years ago again but hes just lost it recently he needs a good stint of domestic cricket this year to try and regain some form.
i dont think he have time to go back, gain form and come mate, maybe nearing the end for oram., i like him. he is well atlest use to be very positive. loved the way he man-handled aussis not so long ago

Yeah, samaraweera is one of those players that if Sri Lanka were playing england, for example, and people were doing their "combined test XI" they would without a second thought put collingwood at no.5.
though in truth his conversion rate has been a bit iffy, probably could have done with just 2 or 3 of those 50s becoming 100s for him to be talked about in terms of real class.
This 3rd session will decide our series. If McIntosh and Guptill decide to dig in and not play any loose shots we might have chance of getting a draw. But if they get out quickly, I can't see them coming out and making a century stand any time soon.
Wow, I go of to the gym for an hour and the game looks completly different. Good to see Vettori get some reward for bowling well over the last two days, hopefully we can wrap up the tail quickly.
