New Zealand

the big bloke got injured where it hurts the most and i dont think he'll be able to play any of the group-f games.may be he'll get in to the side for the semi final if they qualify.
even if broom fails, redmond won't get a look in.may be they will play an extra bowler as he didn't play the warm up matches and it will be hard to adjust to the conditions straight away.
ross taylor may miss the first two matches of group-f and same is the case with mills.
not sure about dan.franklin will be playing today's match surely!
today's probable line up-
1.b.mccullum
2.m.guptill
3.n.broom
4.s.styris
5.j.oram
6.p.mcglashan
7.j.franklin
8.n.mccullum
9.b.diamanti
10.i.butler
11.i.o'brien

Well Redmond won't be coming in unless J Dogg is ruled out, and if Ryder has any chance at the finals he'll stay in the squad.

Can you not push the 'Caps Lock' button or something?

Mills will play as far as I know, Re-edited line up:

1. McCullum
2. Guptill
3. Broom
4. Styris
5. Oram
6. Franklin
7. McGlashen
8. Nath McCullum
9. Mills
10. Butler
11. O'Brien

Redmond has strengthed the top order if his knock against the Irish is anything to go by. Styris has been handy as well and has a ton of experience. Just Oram is really letting them down, for a guy with the potential to hit the ball a long way he has so far fallen well short of that. A bit like Cam White.

i think aaron redmond played pretty well yesterday by putting the loose balls away.
but,you can't deny the fact that all he got from the irish were loose deliveries and the moment he got a good one which nipped back a bit,he got out(terrible decision by a pathetic umpire)
now,the real test lies in putting the good deliveries away and scoring boundaries off them which will be seen in the matches against pakistan and sri lanka.
ian butler is out too?
why are these guys so fragile?
i'm really surprised that jacob oram didn't get injured yet.
i hope no more players get injured.
go blackcaps!!!:cheers

Now that you have said that, Jacob Oram will tear his Achilles tendon.

But anyway good effort by the side, Redmond & Guptill set themselves up quite well in their innings, Styris plays his usual 1 good inning, now expect him to suck for the rest of the tournament.

Sri Lanka will be the big game of the tournament for us, if anyone puts in a good performance with the bat, especially against Mendis & Murali, they'll book themselves a seat on the plane for the tour in August.

guys,i don't know if you agree with me or not,but NZ must take a gamble today by playing vettori and taylor though they are not 100% fit.
if we win this match,we are guarenteed a semi-final spot.if we lose this,we have to beat SL in a game with tremendous pressure on us.that will be nearly impossible.
vettori and taylor must play today.
this is a the most important game of group-f.
it will be worth it if they win us the match today and get injured in the process.
they will have some time off before the semi-finals.

Ross Taylor isn't playing tonight, but Vettori is in with a chance.

may be taylor should try the stand and deliver stuff.

He has a hamstring injury, even if he played I can't see him doing anything. Do you know how hard it would be too even play shot's with that type of injury.

You really don't know jack about New Zealand cricket do you. Go and support India if you have that type of attitude.

who are you to tell me which team to support?
anyways,what about ian butler?
is he alright?

Ross Taylor isn't playing in this game so you assume we are going to lose. Grow up man, we have plenty of other players that can do the job.
