TOUR MATCH
NSWgamefiasco.jpg

New Zealand played there first match on this tour against NSW which was surprisingly played in queensland instead of Sydney!
New Zealand won the toss and choose to bat to get some practise in for there top order. New Zealand got off to a slow start with Fleming and Marshall who was selected in front of McMillan. McMillan and Vettori were the only ones to be rested. And controversally New Zealand didn't pick a spinner for the match.
Marshall was first to go for 27 off a slow 55. Fulton left not long after.
Fleming and Astle both managed to get 50's but couldn't convert it and went for 53 and 55 respectivly. Astle managed his 55 from a quick fire 48 against a NSW bowling attack filled with Aussie frontline bowlers. McCullum and Styris had slow but steady Innings and Oram came in at the end with 27 off 19 not out. Mills got out last ball.
The scorecard;

NSW had frontline Australian bowlers in their attack except for youngster O'Keefe who got hammered early but regained dignity later and picked up the wicket of Stryis.

NSW's innings soon!

Dont think this target will be tough for Aussie , Kiwi need to put pressure from starting which they can as they have Bond, nice story and presentation Matty :clap

A good start to this match mate. Althought the Kiwi's didnt bat as well as they could have. Great bowling from the Aussie frontliners

It depends on Bond now.. if he is going to fire with wickets, then Kiwis might win... Lets see! :)

an alright total from New Zealand,i think their bowling line up will destory the new south welshmen:p

good start, i like the use of pictures so far, maybe a little bit more detail and make it look snazzy with different colours and text and maybe cut off some of the picture so it's smaller, also maybe use some real pics.

New Zealand Win!
New Zealand
New Zealand take out a thriller at The Gabba in the one day friendliy against New South Wales. New Zealand looked comfortable from the start but an awesome partnership by Katich and Haddin gave the Kiwi bowlers some strife. Katich with an awesome 88 of 114 led the way after Mail and the Australian International young gun Michael Clarke failed at the top. Cowan chipped in well with a steady 29 off 45 and gave the Kiwis trouble until Mills cleaned him up. Christian played the same role as Cowan and palyed a brilliant 23 off 42 until the in form Left Armer Franklin got him. Lee chipped in with a quick 20 off 15 at the end but the tail couldn't keep up with him. NSW all out for 213 giving New Zealand a 19 run win.

Franklin bowled wonderfully picking up Mail in the first over coming around the wicket. Not long after he scalped the wicket of Clarke. Picked up another 2 lower order wickets to finish with brilliant figures of 9 overs, 2 maidens, 4-21.
