After a shocking white wash in the test series and 2-1 defeat in the ODI series in South Africa , New Zealand tour down under to prove a lot of things.Lets hope we are able to see the same old New Zealand which was under Stephan Fleming back.

Vettori:We have learned from our mistakes and we will give them a really tough fight.We wud love to retain our Chappell-Hadlee trophy.We wud also try to win the 3mobile test series.

Press:What is an update on Shane Bond's injury.?

Vettori:Shane Bond has recovered very well and will be available for the whole series.

Press:Ricky Ponting came out and said that "Australia are going to win the series with a white wash "what are your thoughts on it.

Vettori:Australia's are famous for mind games but we are not going to hear them and just concentrate on our cricket.

the squad is almost the same that we had for the 2007 icc world cup.James Hopes is their because of his brilliant permformances against India.Clark has been given a rest

MT:The pitch is green and hard...wud mostly favour the fast bowlers rather than the spinners...my verdict ask the opposition to bat.

Queensland deciding to bowl first was the write option as they got and early breakthrough by Bichel of Papps..But on the other side Vincent and Taylor made a handy partnership of 51.

But then James Hopes was brought on and what a change of bowling that was by Maher .He got rid of Fulton and Taylor in 3 balls..Vincent was taken by Johnson the very next over...

Styris , Oram and McCullum tried to stabilize the innings by playing their natural game but it was no use...they fell out too early..It was not left to Vettori and Franklin to go after the bowler but it was just to late.Soon Franklin and McCullum were the victims of Watson who bowled superby at the end ..

Watson happy after getting 2 wickets​

Last man to fall was vettori who was left fighting still the end ..he fell to Symonds.New Zealand were just able to score 159 all out in their 20 overs...
