Nfl 09/10

I can see how defense is much more appealing from an injury perspective.

I'm hoping to find out that there is an American Football team at the university I go to. I've toyed with the idea of going to the Nottingham Cesars training sessions but football has got in the way before and now with it being my final college year I don't think it's best for me to go and try out.

Yea mate in all honesty, if you dont start in 8th grade, its too late. Most kids who end up playing in college are being scouted as early as 7th grade. Also to play American football properly is a very expensive process to organize leagues and pads and fields etc.

Was not aware it was played in Unis over there, good to hear.

It is in some, and there are a fair few teams that play in the British version of the NFL.

It is the same for football and cricket here. You need to be playing a good standard and getting scouted at the age of about 10-13 if you want to play professionally.

I wish we could have swapped lives Trevor, I would have killed to grow up in a country where cricket is played in schools and be able to attend international matches.

One of those things I guess. Everyone wishes something was different about their lives, especially the place in which they were brought up.

I'm in no way religious but I do believe in reincarnation, basically because I don't think our existance just comes to end. So who knows, if reincarnation does happen maybe we'll end up swapping nations :p

my brother played WR for 3 years in HS. but he wanted to be HB. but they made him play WR. they thought he would be better. and he was thankful as ever.

i can never play football! i love it, i wish i could...but...

A TD brings them back in it. Had they executed the play better they may have got that TD, and then people would be saying it was geinous play. It's just like playing a reverse sweep in the last over of a session in cricket. If you hit it for four it's a great shot, if you get out you're an idiot.

the batsman will still be criticized at the end of the day. because there is no point of playing that. its not like it was the last ball and 4 runs needed. then too, he will be questioned. because, what if he had missed it. i am pretty sure a decent batsman will play a solid shot for 4. let it be the last ball of the day, or last ball, 4 to win.

any who, i think Red Skins have done it before. back in Oct-Nov this season. and few times in the past. and it worked out like 1s. so it shows. i know 7 is better then 3. but its not granted. its like those money shows, at the end they ask you a tricky Q and if you get it right, they double what you have won, and if you dont ans right, they take everything back.. now its your choice. you wanna play a Dilscoop and risk it all or...

That's probably because you don't want to believe it all comes to an end. So reincarnation makes you feel better.

Anyway how the hell did this topic come up? :what

Reincarnation would be awesome, unfortunately I don't buy it. We are no different than Chimpanzees and in my book we will rot in the ground in the exact same manner after death.

yup, flag football in 7th grade PE. and they teach you every single thing. for how to play to how to punt. i miss my middle school PE

That play wont work in college or NFL as you can't hike it sideways. Very funny though

looks like the 72 Dolphins record might be safe. Indy losing right now after they pulled Manning. They already have home field advantage so I guess they dont care if they lose

9ers finish 8-8, best team in the non-playoff teams list :D

Bucs won v Saints on OT. shows how the crap teams are doing so good at the end of their season.
