Nike logo on the Indian team kit? I have to admit I am a bit jealous. Now I have to go burn all of my nike t-shirts. Joking, joking.....

That sounds a bit exagerated.
Its true. I had seen something about this on Gillete World Sport.

What's true? That nightprowler will have to go burn his shirts? Nike has officially sponsored the Indian team kit--there's no two ways about it.

the kit would look fabulous if it had the tricolour on it just below the ugly Sahara logo as they had in the light blue ones ! And a nike logo on one sie and the shoulder would hav been perfect !
I hope they use the above kit for practice purposes and have a seperate kit for Intl. games.

Also, they can use dark blue for away matches and light blue for home games like the Aussies do.

The kit is just boring in general. Kits don't make a whole lot of difference to players, I don't think, but the only reason I would buy something like that is because it is associated with Team India. If Nike is forking out millions of dollars for a sponsorship contract, they might as well design something that is aesthetically worth it. I like the current India kit the best...actually I preferred the World Cup 2003 one with the cut out blue things on the side. But this kit is just--ugly and boring.

I liked the WC 2003 kit with the bits of dark blue at the corners.
Don't you think we should have gone for a lighter colour? With the dark shade of skin and the dark blue kit we won't be able to see anything!

Maybe its a ploy so opposing teams can't target weak fielders :D

Well we have to wait and see when India plays Pakistan in the new year. But I am pretty sure these will be the ones used on match day.

are they going to wear this kit in pakistan?? If so, what color is the back number and name going to be: white?

That Dark blue kit is India's Home one , and the one used today is india's Awaykit.

Yes its their practice kit.
I doubt the colours would change.
I feel that the designs on the kit might undergo some change.
