ODI Tri-Series (Malaysia)

i kept on saying that pathan and kaif should play kaif did and he played well and when we needed pathan were was he in the dressing room sort it out and quick

I think its time to teach Sehwag a lesson drop him from the team he is doing nothing for the last 1 year except those two three innings.

This is a poor batting display by Indians...Thank God that I didnt watch the match.. i was frustated while saw the highlights!!!

One of the crucial thing is DECISION OF UMPIRE :mad :mad :mad for Dhoni and Bhaji!!!

Dhoni seemed to keep the things going...How can umpire forget the basic thing of watching a noball :mad :mad :mad :mad

If a player shows a slight expression against umpires he is being fined or even banned for 1 or 2 matches!! But a decision like this ( POOR POOR ) should bring him a life long ban to cricket  so that it will lesson to other umpires..becos watching a noball is a basic thing and no excuses for forgetting the basics!!!!!

Really disappointed with the things went around.....
1) Failure of bowlers to utilise 117 for 6
2) Sachin soft dismissal
3) Sehwag doing the same mistake again and again
4) UMPIRE DECISION
5) Poor strategy of Dinesh Mongia to give Munaf strike( No 11 batsman ) when three balls were left that too against Bret Lee!!!!

Indians let their opportunity to slip from their own hand!!!

Yeah they always call up indians, pakistani, west indians, sri lanka's etc for over appealing and there actions but this is so rarely ever seen for england australia and new zealand the whole icc board is corrupt.
jesus! got sour grapes anyone?

you can say all this stuff as much as you want but nothing is going to come of it. Ill be the first to admit that dhoni and harbhajan shouldnt of been out, but you talk about it as if its never happened before! thats cricket, get on with it. For the record, umpires miss no balls all the time, for all we know, they could have missed all the no balls on aussies wickets. We just dont know this because they never show a bowlers feet when its not given a no ball

completely agreed!!! This is one of the issues even we discuss in college!!!!

I am sure Mcgrath( i am talking about Mcgrath few years ago as i havent seen him action in recent times) wud have been punished ( fined or banned 1or2 matches) most of the times in his cricket carreer if the charges were taken against him!!!! :p

Geez mate, give them a break! They are only human, and human's will make bad decisions.

Can't you just give the umpires a break? They have an incredibly tough job of picking out no-balls and then answering the appeals of the bowlers. Umpires make mistake because they are human and i'm sure that none of you would be ranting and raving if a bad decision happens in favour of your team. What goes around comes around.

exactly evertonfan!

the amount of sour grapes flying around this forum right now is incredible! I wonder what they would be saying if India won

really true

this kind of things happen most of the time :mad

i aint complaining about umpiring look at england v pakistan umpires had some shocking decisions against pakistan but it happens i still am not happy we never played pathan fair play to australia they kept at it and won

How does the fact that the players are human make it any more acceptable for you to blast the umpires for simply being human and getting it wrong. We all accept the umpiring was well below average in favour of the Australians but thats the way cricket goes (Just like the D/L method).

How can the rules be the same for both player's and umpire's? They both perform completely different tasks in a game of cricket.

And nuffa, Australia has been heavily critisized for over-appealing many times (with Shane Warne and Ponting as the main culprits) but according to you they are never in any trouble.

mate i wasnt talking about the game rules...lol!!! :D The rules i meant was " If a player makes mistake like overappealing he is punished ...... Similarly if a umpire makes mistake he should also be punished ". How can umpire be left alone inspite of making mistakes?

I tried to say " MISTAKE IS A MISTAKE.... & ONE SHOULD PAY FOR THE MISTAKES "
