and that's why Australia lost that series. Look at his strike rate.

Anyways back to the game. Looks like WI don't want to bat today. :D
Is that pitch too difficult or is it good bowling by Australia??

Australia lost the series due to some freakish batting by Herschelle Gibbs :p

And those aren't bad strike rates either (11 off 50 is bad :D)

Strike rate of 66 by Katich in that series.

Speaking of strike-rates in that last game didn't Punter have a better strikerate then Gibbs despite being 10 odd runs short of Gibbs' score? EDIT: Dang, he didn't.

Windies are also carting around Watson.

Yup sure is. I am beginning to like this guy now. Used to consider him useless not so long ago.
He's really improved. He has more tricks and his batting is more confident.

Australia win the DLF Cup by bowling West Indies out for 113. It was a great bowling performance.

As did many people. When was the last Australia had a genuine all rounder?
Depends on your definition of genuine all rounder. Probably have to go back to Keith Miller for someone with genuine fifty-fifty talent.

It was great batting on a tough pitch, followed by good bowling.

Well the indies lost badly, but i still think that lara would of had a great effect on the match if we wasn't wrongly giving out the umpire's have the ability to change their decision yet they feel better to make a mistake and stick with it. The game changing mistakes always have me asking the question when is the icc goin to imply ways of dealing with this, why won't they just grow up. Can someone please tell me why lara's dismissal could not be reversed if you can't then i guess the icc rules where really made by a large group of buffons.

I dunno I quite like the fact that mistakes are sometimes maken by umpires; sometimes it goes for you, sometimes it doesn't. It's one of the things that keeps the match interesting.

The entire game revolves around the umpires' judgement. If you don't like that aspect of cricket, get over it or find a sport without referees.

I didn't mean it like that i'm stating as for example in football i don't think you can change your decisions with goals cards etc but in cricket you can change the dismissal decisions especially game changing ones, if this is a rule why isn't it used more often is the rule just there for style.
