Braken went from 2 maidens to a 6.8 RPO pretty fast.


Excellent start from West Indies. Done perfectly. Got through the first bunch of overs of good bowling well without losing a wicket and now they are accelerating. Perfect!!! Great cricket. Now if they can get some more runs on the board, they should have a nice easy road to the needed total.

I don't understand Captains at times either. Everyone always seems to take the Powerplay overs in the first 20. I mean surely if Chanderpaul is going off on one, it's worth taking a break for a couple of overs, stop the runs from flowing and see if he'll get himself out?

Further illustrates Ponting's incomptence as captain. Having someone like Gilchrist on the field who I believe has a better cricket knowledge, we may not see the powerplay taken.

I think Trescothick is one of the only captains who used the powerplay in the 30th over. The option of taking it later is there for a reason. Use it to your advantage. Try thinking for once. :
