One of the saddest stories of the off-season was the ending of Darren Stevens' legendary county career. Well this is a draft crafted not only to make him eligible, but to make him a star. This is a draft for The Old Guys.
- All players selected must be "active players".
- An "active player" is defined as someone who has played at least one First-Class, List A or Twenty20 match since 01 April 2022, and who has not announced their retirement from professional cricket.
- All players selected must be "old".
- An "old player" is defined as someone who was born on or before 31 March 1988. This would make them 35 or older at the start of the current English cricket season.
- At least three platers selected must be "very old".
- A "very old" player is defined as someone who was born on or before 31 March 1983. This would make them 40 or older at the start of the current English cricket season.
