Sounds like a defo lost connection mate, i played a game last night (can't remember the guys name)scored 240 odd and had him 70 odd for 8, then lost connection, so straight away i was fuming, calling him all the names under the sun, but then realised i had been disconnected from the server, but it does go to show that whatever the match situation is you can't know 100% the person has quit on you, that's why i do give most people a 2nd chance, the reason i named Arfan was because i got no reply from the message i sent him, and he was getting beat up badly at the time of disconnection.

Only posting since I saw my name mentioned.... Arfan3 I have on my quit list, however I have a note *too laggy* next to his name. So I would be hesitant to label him as a quitter to avoid.
And was so long ago now (I'm semi-retired and hooked on CoD atm), that I can't remember the details of the match.... but would be surprised if it went more than a few overs due to my notations. He's probably just on my list so I can avoid the lag and time wasting in future, not because he 'cut n run' on me

Just played arfan3.. not a very good decision i realized..he batted first and made 210 in response after fighting through tremendous lag i reached 30/3(tailenders) in 5 overs when connection got lost..to be fair I asked him to restart from where the game got disrupted in an unranked match to which he declined saying he doesnt play unranked (further evidence to his being a stats monger rather than someone who plays the game for fun) and called me a quitter
I told him it was a connection error if i had quit wouldnt have asked him to continue but he said the same was there when he quit against me. I told him u r a quitter coz u agreed to it after u quit in our 1st game stating"wont quit this time" and ve been named as one by a number of players
gougie, thandamilk, bantonage to which his response was thandamilk quit against him(well this is one of the most genuine players around :rtfl) and he says he has never heard of gougie and bantonage (both have named him as a quitter earlier on this forum:laugh)
I think I need to make 2 lists now

Lilas11 the misunderstandings between you guys continues i guess, On the basis of the trial game i suggested between the two of you i do not think it would be fair to stick with your previous verdict of regarding Arfan3 as a quitter, such an outcome would have only been reasnoble if he had quit on you this time around which did not happen.
Although it is fair to say he lacks some descipline when it comes to you, thus he was quick to brand you as a quitter when you lost your connection. After this i guess my reccomendation would be that the two of you do not play in the future.

Rizzy I beg to differ.. my opinion about him would have changed had we completed a game where he wouldn’t quit from a losing position.. getting disconnected in a game evenly poised doesnt prove anything..however the fact that instead of getting the game completed from where we got disconnected he preferred playing a new ranked match goes on to show he’s only running after stats.. n these are the people who mostly quit.
What further strengthens my hunch is that he called Thandamilk a quitter(REALLY:sarcasm) and said he has never heard of gougie and batonage. I have just started playing Ashes 2009 online.Though it's great fun but I frequently get disconnected from the server.I guess my opponent thinks that I am a quitter but I find myself helpless. I just managed to play one 10 over game in the last 2 days.Tried playing two to three 20 over ranked matches but failed !
I have checked my Internet connection and it works fine,so what should I do ??? Any suggestions will be very helpful.

sonnyp85 is a quitter I scored 95/2 in 6 overs against his 3 fast bowlers when he quit. Sent him a message to which his reply was T20's are too long I get bored.. should have thought that before getting in the game :sarcasm

Have already played him twice with the scores even at 1-1 (both last over finishes). Played him after a long time. Batting first i scored 170 in 20 overs against some very questionable fields against 3 fast bowlers. In response he was 27/8 when he quited at the fall of the 8th wicket...

I want to second Lilas11 on MUKULAKHAN being a quitter! My experience playing with him has been bad, as he quits almost all the time when i am about to win the game. Sends in a message ' Network Problem-U won the game'. Never happens when he is in a good position(hardly anytime though
).
A couple of days back I played him and was abt to win the game when he quit and I had kept Lilas11 in the loop of wht was happening in the game. Next day he responds to my complaint in Codemasters forum saying he hasn't played against me in a month and a half! I mean school kids make better excuses than that! I have no words to describe on how big of a quitter and a liar MUKULAKHAN is!

well as stated earlier i played with arfan3 and he did not quit and he won the game
