When i keep ground qualities to 0 it gives some good matches as..

I am liking it.. also i will use you sim only.. i am getting well with match by match..

tbh, i'd be happier if you could focus on the longer match engines first, then worry about the commentary, because i don't think people will mind if the statistics isn't in there at the beginning.

That's my plan of action. I plan to work on the commentary and statistics when I hit a bug in the FC/OD engines that I can't solve immediately.

Having some problems Sohum. Im using Windows 7, first of all I was unable to create a ground without a message coming up saying 'PCCS has stopped working'. Since then I have created 11 players without trouble for the Netherlands team and a further 4 for the Irish team. For some strange reason I can no longer make any more players because the programme closes down again. Any idea what's wrong?

EDIT: The problem is with having an apostrophe in the name. I was creating Kevin O'brien. A little bug there to sort out, Sohum.

i think he know's about the apostrophe problem, because i had the same problem when i was creating a ground for the IPL database.

also, Sohum, how long will it be until we see a longer match engine in the sim.

Yup, it's been fixed in my dev branch. I will release it later this week.

I haven't yet started on a longer match engine. Once T20 is finished up I'll move towards the OD engine.

I am having problems with saving the scorecards. This may be because I am playing the game from Program Files but am currently using the scorecard and ball-by-ball updates for a game in my story. The sims I have seen so far are very promising. Here are the scorecards from the game I am using in my story (print screen).

This was played at Lord's. The pitch settings were 5, 5, 4, 8, 4 I believe. A good point about the game was Ireland were 100/4 after 17 overs and smashed the last 3 overs to get a respectable score.

I play matches.. but once in a blue moon.. When i save the Score card.. it is saved in 100*100 Pixel.. That is toooo small.. do not know how.. but some times..

Hmm, that's strange. Could you PM me/post one of these graphics when they occur? I'll take a look at the code to see what could be going wrong.

So it crashes after saving one innings? Are you trying to save to the program files directory? Try saving to my documents and let me know if it works.

The next update is going to feature a few things that will make using the sim a bit better:

1. Save scorecards to database (pccsdb) meaning that you can view and create pngs later.
2. Customizable color scorecard bars for each team.
3. Match results will be stored.
4. Option to select last lineup used.
