Two quick wickets rattle Pakistan
(Aussies find the much needed breakthrough)

The first Powerplay had come to a close as Pakistan had raced onto 31/0. Both Nazir and Hameed were looking well placed. In the 9th over captain Ricky Ponting made an unusual change as he brought on Leg-spinner Cameron White. He nearly got through Nazir.

The pitch was having a lot of turn. Nazir was playing cautiously and not like his explosive self. White got a ball to rise up sharply from the pitch. Looking at it in full speed made it look like it had come off the glove. Thinking certain it was out, Haddin, White and Hayden appealed however it was in vain as Umpire Asad Rauf stood his ground. The replay showed that using Snickometer it had come off the glove.

Eventually Imran Nazir was to depart as he chipped it straight to Cameron White at Fine Leg and this time he was out.
B.Richards: In the air and gone. Soft dismissal from Imran Nazir. White takes the catch so Pakistan lose their first wicket for 64.

The new batsmen was the highly experienced Younus Khan. At the none strikers end Yasir Hameed was playing very well and is on *27. Younus did not survive very long. White had troubled Nazir from the previous over with extra bounce and spin now Younus a great player of spin was put to the test.

White pitched the ball up on Younus' leg stump. Playing for the spin Younus played defensively but the ball straightened and struck the top of Off-Stump. The Australians were ecstatic as the danger man of the Pakistani tea, had gone. Younus stood there looking bewildered and looking hard at the pitch but eventually he had to go for just 1.
I.Chappell: What a beauty from Cameron White. He has produced a beauty to get rid of the dangerous Younus Khan. So Younus departs for 1 its 65/2.

The new batsmen to arrive to the crease was Misbah-ul-Haq. The Australians have just started to get the momentum back and now Pakistan need to rebuild their Innings. The Powerplay overs have finished as Pakistan have reached 71/2.

That is 2 good wickets for the Aussies to have, now Pakistan have to rebuild otherwise they may end up with a score that is below par on this pitch and that may give the Aussies the easiest victory they ever have.

Great work mate, reps for you, keep it up!:)

I think White's and Lee figure got exchanged :p Aussie really needed that wicket and Pakistan in some kind of trouble. Nice story and great presentation Arslaan :clap
