Batting responsibly? Were you watching the same guy? He was swinging at everything, at least 20 runs in each innings came from edges. The bad news is that he'll probably be in the team for the Ashes now, which means we're ****ed.

Who cares if his runs are coming in a lucky way (A bit) if he's getting the runs.

More runs in one match than GoJo did in the last 5 tests?

He played well imo, and the commentators agreed with me.

I can't think of 40 of his runs being edges.

And like I said who cares as long as he's making runs?

they need a knock like ponting did at old trafford last year

Agreed. It's like what Alistair Cook said after Lords;

"I'd take an ugly 100 over a pretty 10 anyday."

Read didn't get a 100, but that 50 was vital.

Khan will probably get that knock. The bowlers have got to concentrate on Inzy as he was injured and Khan is looking fantastic.

I feel that GoJo should be given another chance, like at the oval. ;)

About as likely as Warne playing for England.

So will Pakistan play for the win now?

239 runs needed with next man in Shahid Nazir.

I put a bit of VCash on England at the start, it's looking good for me.

We need Read saying "Nice one Monty!" after EVERY SINGLE BALL.

Disgraceful batting from Pakistan. Everything is going wrong for them. Caught off the pad from a thick edge, caught down the leg side. A very unnecessary runout and a few good balls.

But really, the two openers are not good enough, Inzamam should have been in at 5, bad call from match referee and Iqbal and Akmal havn't been very good this series.

England should definatly win now. No excuses if they don't lol. The first session, as I thought, has decided the game.

Younis Khan is batting very nicely. Him and Imzamam could pull off something amazing and bat a whole session, I dunno, maybe the draw is possible. Unlikly though.

I wanted a good match and so far its a whitewash lol.

its going to be hard they need to think postive we know they can do it because we know they are great batsmen but its going to be hard real hard

I'm still feeling negative; England can never ever just wrap up a batting line-up like this. Five down at Lunch just seems too good to be true; Inzi and Younis can still do this.

P.S: If you want to know why I am so downbeat and negative, just look at my username and you'll understand.

It's nothing to do with the match referee it's in the rules.

It's in there to basically stop batsman resting during the field so they have plenty of energy during their innings.

Pakistan have a huge task ahead of them now just to hold on for the draw.

It's the best I've ever seen Saj bowl to be honest. 89+mph balls one after another bowling a great line too, well played :D

Sajid got abit lucky.

Anyway ctap batting from Iqbal, Taufeeq, and hell Younis & Inzi win it or loose it.

The Iqbal wicket Sajid was certainly fortunate but the Akmal wicket was a beauty of a ball, forced the batsman to play at it.

Agreed. That ball would have got anyone one out.

Who needs Simon Jones? :p
