honestly speaking , a draw is the most likely result followed by a pakistan win and th remotest possibility is an indian win
its never easy to chase even 250 on the last day regardless of how good the wicket is for batting and what the quality of batsmen is ! India might just play safe if they lose sehwag early ! I think if sehwag stays till lunch and half an hour after lunch , even if India had a mindset to go for a draw , they would be tempted to win bcoz of the rate the man from najafgarh scores!
According to me, the key for Pak will be Md.Sami to bowl well ! He looked superb the last 2 days ! The Indians should manage kaneria even though he has picked up quite a few wickts in the series ! Razzaq mostly comes into play with the old ball and iam afraid that if it comes down to the old ball we are most likely to see a drawn game .
Shahid Afridi was underbowled by Inzy in the 1st innings and I must say that he has a great knack of picking up wickets when the Pakistanis want it the most .

i feel shewag will play a crucial role today, if he is there till the lunch intervel and indian dont loose more than 2 wickets (i.e. by lunch), i think india are in with a chance.

the runrate is no problem coz as long as shewag is in the middle runs keep flowing.

saisrini mentioned that the reqd. runrate is abt 3.93, with shewag around it is not a big problem at all, infact his stay at the crease will ensure a runarate abt 4.5 odd.

this will make the other batsmen job pretty easy.

as i said earlier all depends on shewag, if he is there till lunch india r in with a big chance

Agreed. Sehwag is going to be a factor today. Sincerely praying for fireworks from him

Laxman is still dreaming about his childhood runs chase againts his neighbors kid.

we're happy that he is in his dreams..

he is being positive. whats wrong in that? and the run rate needed to chase down that total (3.93) is absolutely achievable any day and that too on this wicket. I think you underestimate India too much...

Dude It suppose To be a Joke,I dont underestimate The indian team,I am just supporting pakistan for some strange reasons  But yes Indians be wishing that his dreams come true,But not this time,Indian players have been dreaming for so long and wishing They come true,

Yo, shahid, there was one occasion when a batsmen walked on an LBW. It was in the India-Bangladesh test series when Pathan was bowling his devastating in-swingers. I think it was Javed Omar Belim he got struck on the pads, turned around and walked to the dressing room. :D It was quite funny.

As for today, damn, I missed the vBookie opportunity. If India win, there will be a lot of hefty payouts. This shoudl be a good day's play. 8 minutes to go.

Anyone want to start the umpiring debate again?????? Lets see how many Indians moan Taufel's miss giving Gambhir a reprieve. Talk about being crucial.

And let's see if you understand that we are complaining about the quality of the umpire, seeing that you yourself have just given proof of that.

Like I have said time and again, I accept it as a necessary part of the game. Most of you seem to believe that there is a dark conspiracy against Indians in the umpiring community. Thats what I have a problem with.
Billy Bowden and Simon Taufel are the best in the business right now, probably better than Bucknor and the rest. If you are saying they are also not good enough then they should just stop cricket altogether.

The umpire errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr,I just want to curse the **** out of the umpire, but no, lets see as shahid said how many indians would go againts the umpires now,They would go crazy when tendulkar is out when he is not out at all,

shewag on fire on the last 3 balls of the 9th over - 3 Fours... the first one wasnt good but the 2nd and 3rd one was

Surely, shahid, you don't believe that if recurringly bad decisions take place that we should accept it. I regard Taufel and Bowden as the best umpires currently in the business, too. The main problem these days are that everyone involved with the game EXCEPT the umpire has access to technology that tells us if someone is out and not. It is a paradoxical situation because we are blaming the umpires for getting the decisions wrong, whereas the ICC is not even improving them. Its a question of whether you want accurate cricket or classical cricket.

You realize that you don't really have an argument. You are a Pakistani supporter and you are getting angry when Pakistan got a bad decision. I am an Indian supporter and I got angry when India got a bad decision. It sort of makes sense if you think about it, doesn't it?

See that... 20 runs off the first 5 overs of the day.. That is, 4 runs per over.. The req. run rate at the start of the day was 3.93 per over. Good start certainly

Its 49/0 as India have scored 24 off 6 overs in the morning

I believe umpires are just as important a part of cricket as the bails and the crease. If that means that I would rather side with classical cricket, then so be it.

Fair enough. I just feel differently. But umpires will continue to hear criticism as time goes on, in fact it will only grow as new technology comes and everyone can see it on TV. The match is in a very exciting state. :)
