despite the fact that Pakistan is in quite a good position here, i think this is that Ahmedabad - Mohali kinda pitch which just won't break enough in 5 days to give anybody a chance...though i hope it does give Kumble and Bhajji some help...

great innings by Inzy...and Younis..seeing them bat for 316 runs, who would say these same guyz were throwing punches at each other two years back

but i would not like to jump the gun and say that pakistan will win this one until i see India bat bcoz India hav been in even better batting form than Pak and this pitch looks to be a superb batting track

fantastic effort by pakistan and inzi but however i agree with sachin is god i think the pitch will be a good batting surface on the 5th day. i think this is going to be one of those test matches that in all 4 innings 450+ plus runs will be scored

and i have a funny feeling tendulkar will break the record in this match

I have a weird feeling ,If Ind bowlers don't get this pair(inzi and younis) quickly tomorrow morning 1st hour, then IND will be in real trouble. Though the pitch looks like a belter of the kind, still u know big scores can easily trouble any opponents on pressure situation. As far as am concern at this stage IND may have to hope for a draw, unless Veeru will do some thing dramatic!, let us see what will happen?.

Another (not so) strange think in this series is both teams are scoring around 3.5 to 4 R.P.O without any trouble at any given stage!, So IND have a real chance if they can think positively!. Sami is in up and down form!, No balls really spoiled his work!. Arshad khan playing in INTL game after a long time(4+ years..), so donno how good his form is?. They particularly target him!. Danish will bowl steadily at any given point of time, thus may get wickets. For me the surprise elements will be Razzaq and Afridi. They always have the mental toughness against IND particularly. As Afridi gone for a duck make him double charged up when the cherry in his hand...

The Pakistan bowling attack is looking kind of weak. They only have Sami for the new ball, and Razzaq will try to make up for it. If Sehwag can survive the early overs, he will make a meal of Razzaq. And if he can last about 15 overs, he will have the spinners ready to face. This all depends on Sehwag--if Sehwag hangs around, he could be sending Arshad Khan to the retirement benches.

But before all that, the Pakistan batting needs to crumble. Absolutely needs to. Hey, I'm Indian.

btw, i donno why but i feel this is a kinda stage that Laxman would love to play big on. He's due big time and Sami would do well to get his line right to him when the time comes, else I am sure Laxman will make sure he gets a place in the ODI squad by playin something big...Of course with Bucknor out of the way we can always hope that the master blaster does get that 35th ton.

Oh, I thought no one read that. I've been a little busy lately but I should have an update up by tomorrow (oh shoot thats just 48 minutes away). My ODI team would be (in batting order): Tendulkar, Sehwag, Kaif, Dravid, Yuvraj, Ganguly, Karthik, Pathan, Kumble, Balaji, Nehra/Harbhajan

I think India gave away too many runs for Pakistan today. First I had bet for an Indian win. But now, I have increased my bet for a draw as well so that I dont lose toomany points!

I still feel if India can attack more tomorrow, then they can bowl out Pakistan for 400 or below! Chances of winning is still possible! (I'm being optimistic)
