Well,the surface of the pitch is mainly dry and dusty which will provide plenty of lift for the quicker bowlers.But batting might be a bit uneasy under lights and dew factor.

Knowing the Johannesburg pitch, it has mainly provide extra swing and seam movement for the medium-pacers.

So this must be interesting how the bowlers are going to make use of this pitch. Once again its going to be a great challenge for batsmen to bat in these conditions and score quickly at the same time to up the run-rate

Sometimes, when the net is connected & u play it happens! i have experienced this few times that too in night time where i had to restart the system...

Pak Strike Early​

The Pakistani team came emerging form the dressing room as they were put in to Field first. The South African openers Smith & De Villiers came out of the dressing room. After everything was ready, umpire asked to proceed. Rana Naved and Shabbir Ahmed who had just been cleared for his bowling action shared the new ball. De Villiers started very well smashing Rana for 2 fours. But the bounce of Shabbir Ahmed intrigued him to cut and had a faint edge to keeper Zulquarnaine Haider. Smith and Kallis have 15 overs to gain a positive total.

Skipper Greame Smith has left of after De Villiers was caught. He has been playing his shots and hitting in boundaries.Also Jaques Kallis has played himself in as the Pakistani bowling attack has been pretty poor from the last 5 overs.

Stand in captain Younis Khan has operated Rana Naved,Shabbir Ahmed,Abdur Rehman, Razzaq, Afridi and Malik to no avail. The inexperience is starting to show. So far he hasn't been satisfied with his bowlers in the last few overs as the runs have started to come in a free flow. At this rate the Protiers look poised for 180+ as they have the big-guns Kemp,Boucher and Pollock to follow up next
