XI looks good, except Haris is batting very low. Unsure if he does that in domestic cricket?

I think he’s the ideal hitter at 6. He debuted at 5 in ODIs.

I like it. Only thing is that potentially the games would be in Chennai (from the rumours) - so might be worth going more spin heavy

I know this is quite a rogue XI and seems immbalanced but look at the last match between Aus vs India and India played 3 proper spinners and Aus ended up winning because of Agar and Zampa.

Disagree with this. Gotta go with specialist middle order batters.
Can play three spinners with Shadab, Nawaz and Usama Mir at 6-7-8.

Bench

- Mohammad Wasim - initially I had Abdullah Shafique as the first name on the bench, but then I realized that we really don't need an opener because we've got Rizwan and Haris, who we can slot into that spot easily should there be any need for it. But we do need a backup pacer because all of our pacers in the squad are in the playing XI. Should anything happen to anyone, we'd be left holding our on Willis.
- Usama Mir - definitely our lead spinner. On pitches like Chennai, we definitely play him ahead of one of the pacers to complete the trio of Shadab-Imad-Mir.
- Mohammad Nawaz - backup for Imad, Shadab and Haris. Can biff the ball, shouldn't let a few bad games ruin his reputation. I think we all remember just how clutch he was for us in matches between T20 WC 2021 and T20 WC 2022.
- Need a proper option for the middle-order, which I believe should be Iftikhar Ahmed because October's a little far away. There's just enough time for him to get back in form and shake the stink of Quetta Gladiators' off of him. Literally only a few months ago, he hit six sixes in an over.

We DESPERATELY need a pace-bowling all-rounder. But who do we even turn to? Aamer Jamal? Faheem Ashraf?
