these are the best batch of t20 players in pak should play most of them vs nz and eng
Ihsanullah? Probably their best pacer on bench

Naseem Shah is in Islamabad United. His brother Hunain Shah is likely to be picked by Islamabad too. And their younger brother Ubaid Shah is playing for Pakistan U19 right now

Didn't know Ubaid was his brother. Hopefully this isn't the Akmals reincarnated

Btw, on the India win — the same thing happened in the last cycle, we won in the 2022 Asia Cup, but then we finished 5th in a WC India won. Idk why, maybe they take Asia Cup less seriously?

This is one of the writeups that will stay with me forever, i think. Absolutely beautiful.

Shamyl Hussain, Azan Awais, Saad Baig. Plenty of modern batting talent coming up. The PSL revolution is here to stay. Linking two relevant writeups

I wouldn't get too carried away. Every U19 batch has it's stars. Not all of them transition into senior cricket. 5 of Pak's top 6 look top tier batting talent (unsure about Riazullah) but I'll be surprised if more than 2 of them end up playing for Pakistan (ignoring Minhas' Asian Games experience)
Is it relevant write-ups or self promo :p

Also, if Hafeez stays in the PCB any longer, he will completely erase the PSL revolution anyway

Both :p

The difference to me seems that every new kid coming up the ranks seems to know how they have to bat in this era, and don’t have that innate conservatism that a past U19 star like Sami Aslam might have had. Obviously not all of them will be regulars for Pakistan, but the PSL will give them an opportunity to shine, like it did for Haris and Saim, and Hafeez can’t stop franchises from picking them. He will probably be removed after the elections anyway.
Mickey and Bradburn are still under contract, so they could come back with Sethi.
