Lol Quinny did Fakhar dirty there.
Fitting for a great Pakistan innings to end with a run out.
Right? I remember Labuschagne being penalised for fake gesturing in domestic cricket. Plus the 5 runs penalty for the ball hitting Bavuma's hat?Wonder if it would technically come under fake fielding.
But we definitely need changes in our side we have to drop Asif Ali and we need to rest Danish Aziz he is a young boy he has played 9 domestic matches only.I wouldn't blame any of the batsman who got out in first 20 overs of the innings. Nortje and Ngidi were just on top of their game and nothing much could've been done to avoid losing wickets to them. Also I think Shadab did a decent job with the bat but he failed to convert his start into a 30-40 odd innings which again hampered Pakistan's chase.
I think Faheem and Hasnain bowled poorly and this is where the Proteas gained momentum while batting. I think this series is proving to be a great exhibition of one-day Cricket.
This is where the problem lies. If you've brought somebody into the team, give them a proper chance to perform. We've lost so many players to immature call-ups and then immediate discarding.we need to rest Danish Aziz he is a young boy he has played 9 domestic matches only.
So it would’ve been 25 off 5? 20 off 5 if Bavuma's penalty runs counted. I remember KL Rahul fielding at short leg, and the ball touched the flap of his helmet before he caught it, and the batting side got 5 runs.So I looked it up and Bavuma's hat receiving the ball would not count as a penalty of five runs. Quinny's fake fielding does count though, which means Zaman could potentially (he was very tired tbf) have scored a double century if the umpires would actually do their homework and apply laws sensibly.
