Pakistan Tour of South Africa and Zimbabwe - April / May 2021

He lost my all respect for him :mad

So he's done this previously in a domestic T20 to Phehlukwayo too. Doesn't surprise me at all.

I wouldn't mind this from South Africa in the next game.

Malan
Markram
Bavuma
Rassie
Mulder/Verreynne
Klaasen
Phehlukwayo
Maharaj/Magala/Williams
Dupavillon
Sipamla
Shamsi

They need a number eight that can bat a bit at the least. Williams was in good form recently even if I'm not sure about his skill at the highest level. Magala on the other hand has always been talented but fitness concerns have been the issue. Not sure if he will be able to bowl ten overs of high quality pace. If he does though, they've got a good change-up bowler for the death. Maharaj will play if the team needs a secondary spinner. I'd call him the most skilled out of the trio which is why he remains my first choice but I can see the appeal for a pacer in this time at the Centurion.

Mulder would probably be my Miller replacement. Neither he nor Verreynne can replace Miller in terms of raw aggression but Mulder can act as the sixth bowler, something that they sorely missed in this game. The concern is that his domestic numbers are nowhere near impressive and Verreynne really hasn't put a foot wrong to merit a drop but Mulder IMO is far better with the bat than his List A stats. Tactical reasons necessitate Verreynne's axing but it wouldn't be the worst decision to play him. Just don't expect Markram to get away as easily like today. And no matter who plays, I'd have Klaasen in at six. They need his power hitting in the end.

Rest of the XI should be fairly obvious. I really hope Malan gets in and they don't promote Bavuma with Smuts in at three for the all-rounder slot. Dupavillon should easily get a game as the best pacer remaining while I would back Sipamla over Hendricks given the former's potential ability to improve more.

Don't think QdK did any wrong there. Some rules in cricket are absurd. He's a keeper. Being cheeky is in his DNA. Never struck me as a bloke who's a cheat?

Nobody’s called him a cheat, but what he did is really deceitful, and it’s actually against the rules. So all we're saying is, you can think the rule should be abolished, but if it’s in force, enforce it.
One thing we can all agree on is that neutral umpires are 100% needed in international cricket.

South Africa's main players will leave the team for IPL. it means their main players won't play the third ODI

Blessing in disguise!

I like how Fakhar updated the South Africans and Shamsi in one minute.
