Pakistan Tour of the West Indies - July/August 2021

Wouldn’t go so far. We can definitely win all of the home series and the away series against SL and Bangladesh. But winning this series would help a lot.
Don't underestimate Bangladesh at their home. They gave us a very tough time in 2015.

Plus, New Zealand, Australia, and England will fancy their chances more in Pakistan than in the UAE. We will most probably play the Tests in Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore, and maybe Peshawar. None of them would be as alien to the touring teams as the UAE. Also, another important thing is that all the Test series are scheduled in the peak winter. The pacers will enjoy good success, especially in Pindi. and Peshawar. Reverse swing will be crucial in Karachi/Lahore.

The series will not be easy by any means. New Zealand even defeated us in the UAE not so long ago

Yes, conditions will be more helpful to the pacers than in the UAE, but Pakistan will make sure to prepare turning pitches, even in Pindi or Peshawar.

They went with your lineup.
Windies bowling first. So it might not be the dustbowl that Cricinfo predicted.
The pitch does have a tinge of grass to it. Plus, bowlers have gotten decent seam and swing so far

And there goes Imran Butt as expected

Openers can only score against Zimbabwe, or weak teams at home, it seems.
Just as I check the score, Azhar is gone too. Will need a big effort from Babar, Fawad and Rizwan.

Kyle Mayers 5-fer incoming :p

Mayers did pretty well against South Africa with the ball. Gives the West Indies good options. 3 front line seamers, a front line spinner with Chase and Mayers as decent all rounders.

Faheem has established himself as a crucial part of this Test team. Great to finally have a dependable pace bowling all-rounder.
