Some tough selections to be had indeed. Basically we are bunch of soft 'you know whats'. Nice haircuts, nice bodies, but suspect techniques everywhere.

50 for Clarke. Played very nicely in this knock, been a tad fortunate that the slip fielders are standing about 20 yards further back than they should be for Asif, but on the whole it's been another fine Clarke Test innings. He's definitely one of the better players in World Cricket to watch ATM, up there with Ian Bell and Mahela Jayawardene as far as prettiness of technique goes.

Well so Clark should be good, he's at the right age and amount of matches that he should be in his prime, Hussey, North, Ponting, Katich are all getting on, only Katich has got runs out of that lot. Time for Phil Hughes in there somwhere, Katich or Watson to move down I reckon.

If it were not for Good old Rudi, Australia would have been lot worse off. Ponting was so dead plumb on 0 and Asif got clarke leaving an inswinger last evening. Thanks Lord Rudi is going away.
