FFS. Pakistan still bowling too straight at Katich. At least try 1 full wide one at him, or a leg-stump yorker. Just get him out please. Hussey's not the prettiest batsman in the world to watch, but he's much more aesthetically pleasing than Katich.

a bit shorter on the legs is where he's really liable to pop up a catch, but it takes a bit of specific field placement.

I don't think you can say that for sure. Gul has an excellent yorker, and Katich exposes his leg-stump. A good yorker fired in at the base of leg-stump would prove difficult for Katich to play. It's worth a go I think. Sticking with the line and length they're currently bowling doesn't seem to be working. If Gul bowls a perfect leg-stump yorker, and Katich gets it away, then yeah, abandon the plan, but it might be worth slipping the odd one in.
