Salman Butt will feel very unlucky to get out early in the day. Pakistan had won the toss and elected to bat and started off like a blast scoring runs very freely until Butt decided to play the first proper defensive shot of the match and was edged out by Zaheer Khan for 27...

Pakistan were batting in top form with M.Yousuf making a 50 and S.Malik making a 100 also Afridi chipping in his 50 to but after some great hitting somthing seemed to have gone wrong S.Malik went edged to Tendulkar then M.Yousuf went and also M.Malik in very quick period of time India got Pakistan all out for 299 befor the day ended now this leaves them in a tense situation they need to see the day of without loosing a wicket and Pakistan need to make a breakthrough fast...

India First Innings!!!

India were looking strong in their first innings with skipper Dravid making a solid 73 befor lobing one in the air trying to slog. In reality the score made by the Indians were not big but they were achived quickly they had only reached 179 all out at 5:35 Day Two which left them in a bad position. Pakistsan bowlers proved yet again there destructive pace with Shoaib and Asif taking 3 a piece and Malik taking 2 with Afridi and Razzaq chipping in two wickets between them. India now have to repeat what Pakistan did to them nearing close of day and that is take some wickets they should try to target Afridi to get him out playing a stupid shot which he may do if he is tempted...

PAKISTAN DO THE DAMAGE!!!

Pakistan have put themslves in a more than strong position in there second innings. they have taken full advantage of the bowling with Butt and Afridi scoring big runs, all the way down most players got 50due to some class batting which has put Pakistan in a match winning position and chance to level the series. Shoaib Malik was once again the highlight of the innings for Pakistan although he didnt score highest he made Pakistan avoide going over the top with their huge start kept the batsman with him cool and they also sucedded. Pakistan should now have this in the bag with a 400+ lead, Indai must attack from the word go if they are to win this match or they could settle for the drawwhich will not let Pakistan win the series...
