I'd not enforce it, give Cook and Pietersen time in the middle ahead of the next match (if possible)

As for UDRS, I think it will be a farce the rate it's going. Strauss got giddy because the thought it might get him a wicket when I think the keeper and Swann knew it was missing, that Pakistani batsman didn't call for it after consulting his partner and he would have been saved, then Broad doesn't call for one when he gets a top edge! One word - shambles. Supposed to reduce erroneuous decisions, it's like a bunch of kids with a toy they dont' know how to work properly and it doesn't work fully anyway so they never will!

And they should send hot spot back to Strike It Lucky where it belongs.

Going back to the earlier dismissal with the did he or didn't he edge it, he must have or would have referred it. May only have been a tickle, but surely he hit it?

I think he decided to consult his partner and doing that dissuaded him from appealing even though he probably knew he didn't edge it. Maybe he thought it hit his glove and he didn't feel it, but in fact SLOW MOTION replays suggest all it hit was his thigh, not hot spot, no finer technology than slowing something down so the human eye can see more clearly.

The whole UDRS system is flawed - the ball hit the plastic on Azhar Ali's bat, which did not come up on hotspot. Apparently if it just guides off the plastic (as such a thin edge it was), it will not show up on hot spot.

So, I think all of our batsmen need to cover the bat in plastic
