Sangakkara fell. Now with 37 overs remaining SL got to make sure they they dont fall apart in the next 7-10 overs else Pakistan can get the required runs in about 25-30 overs....

Prasanna & co. should bat for another hour actually to reach real safety

I'm not too clued up about these situations really. I can't remember a test where someone has tried to knock off 100 or so runs at a bit over a run a ball in a bid to win a tight match.

Is it ever the done thing? all the examples I remember it was usually just a bridge too far anyway, but I've never seem anyone go for it.
