PCPL2 Final Tables & Statistics

Sounds good. Khan and Murali - average 4 - wickets between them 1!!!
These were almost identical to PCPL1 though; possibly the main effect has been because of allowing 3 internationals to play rather than 2.

Yeh, the trouble is trying to get more wickets without harming the batting, which is something that will be very difficult to do. Maybe knock the bowlers down 1 or 2 and do the same with the batsmen. Maybe on top of that have just 2 internationals playing.

What I can do is test the following:
- Current averages with 3 Ints.
- Current averages with 2 Ints.
- Averages knocked down by 1/2 for both bowling and batting with 3 Ints.
- Averages knocked down by 1/2 for both bowling and batting with 2 Ints.

Then I can compare the results on each of the different wickets...

There is why it's batsmen dominated..they are averaging 65 and that's just the PC members I think. I can only imagine what the Nat's avg..70? 75?

I don't take that to be a genuine batting average as you would see in real life. Just a scale of 1-100 for the sim.

Maybe we should though, because I think the Sim would've been programmed to work more on real life averages, not a players rating out of 100.

Treva is the expert on this as he created the averages for PCCL and PCPL after extensive (?) testing.
I assume he went for out of 100 for a reason.

Mashrafe Mortaza (Bowl) - 16 [sold to VV for 51k] (7 wickets @ 13 E/R 6.29)

Compared to:

Zaheer Khan (Bowl) - 4 [sold to CC for 11.75m] (1 wicket @ 114 E/R 9.5)

The reason why the batsmen averages are so high is to make the scores realistic to 25 over cricket. If we had them lower they would score at a lot slower pace and we would be seeing scores of less than 100 on a poor pitch. Testing will be done again to find out a happy medium between bowling and batting.

I just noticed, Yuvraj looks like a steal atm. In the Batting Top 6, and Bowling wise second best.

And that too only after Mortaza, which we got for merely 51k!
